An enjoyable cruise

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Beautiful ship, very clean, modern, very nice, cozy areas, not overstated, great gym, good array of restaurants(although the buffet and main dining food could be better, not bad, pretty good), staff very attentive and courteous. Would have liked a better after hours "coffee shop" type of place onboard, the 24 hr diner is cramped and only a handful of greasy items, decent but not great. Room service did not offer hot items, nor a full breakfast. we have been on Princess and Royal Carribbean , their buffets and room service menus are better.

Pros: Service was very polite and courteous, freestyle dining

Cons: Room service menu does not have hot items, buffet could be better, could have more daily activities

Recommends Norwegian Star? Yes!

Acapulco, Mexico
Must see the divers, it's really cool, the fort/mueum,really nice. Tarzan's house, kinda funky and nice views
Don't Miss: just get out there and eat some good seafood and meet some locals, alot of fun
Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, Mexico
Just a cute place, same, get past the tourist trap the first 3-4 blocks from dock and sample some real good food and some nice people
Don't Miss: Check out the church a couple of blocks in from dock, really beautiful
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
get a cab, go to downtown, again, beautiful church, a nice naval museum operated by the navy(it's free) and get away from senor frog, hooters etc, go a couple of blocks in and some great food and shops.
Don't Miss: the chruch and and the pedestrian walk along the beach
