our recent cruise

Sail Date: July 05, 2008

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

We liked the ship. It was clean and comfortable. We frequently ate in the cafeteria because it was the quickest and most convenient. Did not like the mandatory $10/person room fee added on.

Pros: comfortable rooms, quiet, friendly staff

Cons: add-on charges, luggage processing, expensive excursions

Recommends Norwegian Star? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Very nice size, clean, and quiet
Entertainment
entertainment was very good
Food and Dining
We frequently ate in the cafeteria because it was the quickest and most convenient. More "free" always-open restaurant choices would have been nice.
