Review summary

Overall, the ship was an amazing work of coordination, excellent, smiling, happy crew, good service, top rate entertainment. There was always more than enough to do, even when at sea - never a dull moment! The choice of different restaurants was very good, we didn't mind being charged a cover rate to get in, and were disappointed not to be able to get reservations to a couple of the restaurants that we wanted to try (there was always later availability than we wanted)

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Specialty options were not always available for the times that we desired

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We didn't get a chance to do everything we wanted to!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We liked or room steward! He was very friendly. All of the staff seemed very happy with their jobs and it felt like everyone was genuinely having a good time with few exceptions

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We loved being able to walk around the whole circumference of the ship! Elevators were hard to catch during certain times of the cruise...

Cabin / Stateroom

Next time we will try a balcony room!

Ports of call

Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, Mexico

5 out of 5
Beautiful place! We took a bus excursion and the guide was very informative - next time we will go back and just sit on the beautiful beach for a day. Again shopping was in a small market in Ixtapa - nothing special at all. Zihuatanejo is much more exciting as a town, and we took time to walk around the lovely quaint port area after the tour.
Don't Miss: the lovely beaches of Ixtapa

Acapulco, Mexico

3 out of 5
We booked an excursion that included shopping which we were sorry that we booked. Too much focus on shopping for us, and we felt that we were taken to an extremely overpriced "market" Other sites were very nice, but our tour guide was not such a good one.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

3 out of 5
Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton restaurant for lunch was excellent. Otherwise, staying off the beaten track is better in Puerto Vallarta. We "stumbled" upon a wonderful art gallery, and cute shops

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Beautiful little town. Side streets much more interesting than the tourist shops.

Pros: Having all services and entertainment at our fingertips! Freestyle restaurants!

Cons: The lack of clearly designated smoking and non smoking areas
