Great experience.

We really enjoyed our first cruise. No deadlines, relaxing, clean and friendly staff.

We had a balcony stateroom with roll out bed for third person. It was not made for an adult and the worst bed ever even after they put on a "good" mattress, it required sleeping in a partial sit up position or with your feet above your head and no access to the balcony once the bed was made. No room to move around at all.

This is an older ship with not a lot of the fancy frills on newer ships. We had an inside cabin and it was pretty spacious. Plenty of deck chairs to be had even on at sea days. Service was really good - everyone willing to help and even go out of their way to service special requests.

Nice ship. Read some of the other reviews and was worried. Our family was pleasantly surprised. Great ship

Our 3rd time on the Spirit was as good as the first. It is always well-maintained and the staff remember the passengers preferences and names.

We found the food not to our expectations. Most was overdone. For example, meat ordered medium was served well done, lobster tail was way overdone. The shore excursions to the Mayan sites and to Gumbalimba Park were excellent, with excellent tour guides. The ship staff was not as friendly as we have found on other NCL ships, as well as Holland. The ship was physically nice. The cruise appeared to be aimed at the younger crowd, which might explain the lack of activities for the silver folks. We expected talks about the history of the area, but there were none.

Old refurbished ship kept very clean. Our staterooms were conveniently close to most everything.

Had a wonderful time. Crew was amazing, always smiling and making you feel special. Really enjoyed the free style dining and not having to dress up to enter the dining rooms. Food was great. Crew always helpful and smiling. We are booked for a family cruise on the Epic next year, cannot wait for the next NCL experience

We loved the ship! Even though it is Norwegian's smallest ship, it had everything we needed. The food was excellent and some of the best we have had on a cruise ship. Rooms were nice with a very comfortable bed and a large closet with lots of hangers. Our group loved the dance lessons offered every evening with Gabby. We also loved the Norwegian Spirit's dance team. They were great.

Didn't see it. Stuck in traffic for many hours. Mardi Gras parades forced closing of all streets leading down to the pier. NCL not helpful at all. Refusing to refund. Won't even give back port taxes--illegal to refuse this. I intend to sue NCL.

Although it is an older ship, it was small enough to be intimate yet offered a variety of things to do.

We just returned from a 7 day cruise on the Norwegian Spirit it was a nice ship but needed some maintainence, the drapes were faded and there was rust in lots of places, the windows (double pained ) the seal was broken and you couldn't see out of them in many places on the ship

Our group of 6 were very disappointed with the Norwegian Spirit. We felt the food was not good overall, the ship was old and in need of repairs and information was difficult to extract from people that should be informed. My husband and I had two separate problems with our stateroom. One was with the door lock, it was very loose and we reported it 3 times. On the fourth day of our cruise the lock would not lock the door. Fortunately our room steward was there and stayed with our room so we could go eat lunch. The second problem was with the toilet running over and it took 2 calls to the service desk and 20 minutes of constant flushing of our toilet before someone came to see about the problem. We would not recommend cruising with Norwegian.

The ship was clean, and I felt safe and comfortable during the entire excursion. The crew was extremely helpful and friendly.

My overall impression was that the ship was both in good condition and well cared for. The cabins were clean and comfortable; the main dining rooms were in great condition as was the pool deck and other recreational elements. Entertainment centers were well organized and well kepted. It was easy to move around the ship and sinage was sufficient to get to where one wants to go.

WOW!! We had a wonderful vaction with a great staff aboard the Spirit. Everything was clean and in place. The outgoing staff made it fun to be around them and helped get everyone in a great mood.

A comfortable-sized ship with all the amenities. These people know how to treat you! No hassles anywhere from start to finish. I will sail again on Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Although it has been recently refurbished, there is room for improvement. Windows in the Galaxy Lounge and Gigar Lounge azre "frosted" (for lack of a better description.) Some joints are rusted and corroded.
