This was a "make-up" cruise for a COVID-cancelled trip and was overall an enjoyable experience (other than the arduous 24+ hour travel to Tahiti). The only negative experience was the billing dispute that was not resolved (Latitudes discount not properly applied) and the indifference of the Guest Services staff.

This was our favorite of all of our NCL cruises. Love the ship and the staff.

Our bathroom specifically the shower smelt of sewage drains as well as some of the other restrooms on the ship, Main swimming pool was closed for several days due to maintenance, food was barely warm in the buffet area, me and my husband got upset stomach twice during the cruise as well as several other guests on the ship, no plugs near nightstand to plug in CPAP machine or near mirror to plug in curling iron, had to go to guest services to pick up extension cord which I had to switch between the two every day, the was no iron or coffee maker in the room, coffee maker was provided but 3 days before cruise end, coffee pods ran out, only one smoking area which was at the opposite end of our room (Aft).

Please refer to the comments section of each of the ratimg questions for complete information as to how we felt about different aspect of the cruise. Barring the food, the Room Service Sign and the check in process no major issues worth mentioning. I did love the magic show n the stand up comedy n the acrobat shows.

We had a great time and we be booking another cruise with Norwegian for the next year.

Must do cruise if you like wide open spaces and want to have a relaxing vacation.

We enjoyed our trip very much from day 1 to day 7. On board experiences were wonderful. All the NCL staffs were very professional, helpful, friendly, and best services ever experienced. I suggest that more choices of seafoods be added to its menus. Thanks

Nice time. Staff was extremely nice and friendly. The food was a nice variety. The excursions were on time and as stated.

Overall we had a very good time , 7 days may have been a bit to much thinking a 5 day cruise next time and a balcony room , which we would have done this time but I thought the weather would effect that , as it turns out a balcony room would have worked great as the weather for the most part was very nice

Alaska is beautiful, and we had perfect weather. The ship is nice, but not without it's flaws (small size of cabins, spotty service). We were also surprised to not have any narration or announcements from the captain for the whole trip - we were viewing so much amazing scenery but never really knew what we were looking at, any history/stories, etc. We expected a cruise in this part of the world to have a bit more narration. Also note that the internet package is fairly useless - the internet service was spotty at best, and very slow when it worked. And the app crashes a lot and isn't very well made. Overall though, we did have a terrific vacation and enjoyed the ship and most of the ports. I recommend this itinerary (minus Icy Straight Point) and this ship if you aren't traveling with children.

Overall great cruise needs activities for teens great staff

The Spirit is a great small ship experience with recently refurbished spaces and exceptional service. This itinerary was great with 4 Alaskan port cities and one day cruising Hubbard Glacier.

I was empress with the food .....but the service was amazing from the GM Vuk, Entertaiment, shows The Blazing Boots, Front desk ( Gerlie) to all the restaurant service and our Room Steward (Warren).

Going to and experiencing Tahiti was the opportunity of a lifetime. Over 7000 nautical miles were travelled on this cruise and we crossed the equator. The 4 days at sea could have been improved with additional onboard activities (not enough dancing!) The NCL Spirit is beautifully maintained mid-size cruise ship and the staff service was superb. Enjoyed the fact that there was diversity among the cruise guests -- many French and Australian guests, plus other countries (Germany, Canada), not just Americans.

Has never been to this side of the world, but was worth the 18hrs in a plane.

I would consider not using Norwegians Buy one Get one air credit. Reservations take to long to get, seat selection by them is sub par. You get the left over seats. If you upgrade to a better seat and include baggage fees the savings is minimum. If its a long flight check oput getting airfare on your own.

Would I do this cruise again? Absolutely! Would I pick the same room? No. I’d spend the extra money for a suite so I could be in the room at the same time as my husband…

We always love sailing with NCL no matter the itinerary. We think that we would have liked another port or two in Australia and skip a few in New Zealand, if the length of the cruise is the same. Otherwise, make the cruise longer with additional ports in Australia. As far as entertainment: there was too much repetition of the same performers.

The rain turned in to a Typhoon, runways were flooded and the 1st level of the airport was flooded with 3 feet of water. Airport was closed for 2 days and when I tried to rebook a flight - found out that from the Station Manager for Air New Zealand - all the people who were ticketed with a 2 for 1 Ticket from NCL - were expected to get their own ticket out somehow. On hold for 2 hours with Air New Zealand - when I said my record locator - P62ZQH - she hung up and said NCL would have to rebook themselves. Called , left message for agent. Called emergency number at , was connected to NCL whose agent informed me that " She couldn't stay on the phone with me. Her manager wouldn't like it while she tried to get in touch with Air New Zealand and get me rebooked. The call was recorded - listen to me begging for help and her hanging up on me. Hours standing in lines. I called the insurance and was told we were covered but there were no tickets available. Slept on the floor of the airport for 2 nights because all the hotels were full (cancelled Elton John concert), then I found a hotel but Air New Zealand had our luggage. No clean clothes. Stood in line the next day for 4 hours on day 4 and finally got booked on Air Tahiti Lui for the next day at 3:00pm but booking disappeared overnight - no record locator. Again in line to rebook and finally got out and home on February 1st - stop over in Tahiti. Poor customer service from , NCL and Air New Zealand. I will turn in the costs to insurance but EVERYONE who had a 2 for 1 ticket found ourselves locked out of any help from Air New Zealand. I heard NCL sent planes but didn't specify "for NCL Customers" so they were filled by Air New Zealand with other passengers. I want , NCL and Air New Zealand to make this right somehow. And "I'm sorry" is not enough.

The staff made the cruise enjoyable. Many going out of their way to make the cruise more enjoyable. We found out that the Tazmin Sea, between Australia and New Zealand, is one of the roughest in the world. Our crossing, even though cloudy and cool, was not bad. Apparently, the week before was much worse. Something a cruiser should be made aware of before booking this cruise. Overall we were a little disappointed by the experience. We heard so much mor positives about New Zealand.
