A floating Senior Citizen home. Ugly Old Ship Disgusting. Ms. Reed our Agent lied to us about the cruise and it was the worst vacation we ever been on.. Ms. Reed knew what our circumstances were and prayed on us. We believed in and Ms. Reed and was lied too and this destroyed our vacation.

We were on the Spirit in 2013 on a 12 day Med. cruise. From Venice ending in Barcelona. Granted, Norwegian Spirit is not one of the larger ships and neither the newest, we tend to look at the over all experience and we had no complaints.. Certainly not everyone is going to look for the same thing in a cruise experience. Nightlife is not something which is a priority to us. A clean and comfortable cabin (balcony cabin) and enough variety of activities and food throughout the cruise, and of course the shore excursions we like are important and we had those to our satisfaction.
We did note that most of the electrical outlets throughout the ship are of the European style. No what we use in North America but as we had the proper adapters, even that was not an issue.

@LindaLee....You are entitled to your opinion but let me tell you, I have been dealing with the same cruise agency for the last 26 years and we have NEVER been "Victimized" by our agent. Everything that was promised to us always came to fruition. It has NOTHING to do with who you book it through, it has to do with reading your emailed invoice and then double checking that on your cruise lines check-in account. If those promises are indicated on either/or, your good. It's like any other contractual obligation, if it's not in writing, it's not existent. It's unfortunate that anyone should have to double check offerings when it comes to cruises but it's the common sense thing to do. Many people wait until after the cruise to check these things but by then too late.

I did not find your review helpful because there is nothing to back up your complaints and curse words. It is unfortunate that your cruise did not go as you had hoped, but didn't you check into the ship (e.g., age, last refurb) before selecting it for your vacation? Did you check out reviews of past cruises here? Make a habit to look at the reviews about a ship and/or itinerary before you book it. My guess is that you may be kicking yourself a little bit because you did not do any of your own home work.
