Overall, we were very pleased with the ship, the crew/staff and the accomodations. As with all cruise ships it takes a little while to get familiar with the location of all activities. The seas were a little rough, but the ship seemed to handle the rough seas quite well. The early time of year may have been one of reasons for the rough seas. There was a service fee on all activities that were not standard (spa, specialty dinning, etc), if it was not explained that the fee was already added a person could over tip someone. I think this needs to be made more clear each transaction.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The quality of the food in the main dining room and the speciality restaurants was beyond excellent. Shogun was great and well worth the $15 per person. The buffet food was acceptable. Some of the food items in the buffet were dried out. Suggest posting the dinning room times outside the locations. Keeping in mind that there is a lot for a passenger to take in when they first arrive, this might help make it easier.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
some of the activities required a fee (even though no alcohol was involved), kept us from enjoying those activities
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
95% of the staff was exceptional, the best and most friendly people there are. There were a few wait staff people who were less friendly and only did the required activities. They did not ask if we wanted refills when our glasses were full, we had to ask them repeatedly to fill the glass.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Everything was excellent for this ship. Once we got the hang of where things were, we could get around pretty easily. There were people who were smoking in their rooms (balcony area) and the smoke smell got out to the hall way, very unpleasant.
Cabin / Stateroom

We have now been spoiled from having a balcony room. We will have nothing less than a balcony from this point forward.
We had the beach excursion. Said there was snorkeling available, it's location was not clearly marked. Additionally the beach area was small and included a grassy and very rocky bottom. Stepped on rocks. Not worth the price paid. Most of cost was the transportation to the beach.
Don't know where to start. The Alantis Submarine was awesome, though tight quarters for tall and large people. The crew knew how to have fun and show us some great stuff. The Margaritaville restaurant is a great tourist place, fun drinks, pictures and all sorts of activities.
We went to the Maya Key Priviate Island. This is an exceptional beach area. Lots of beach front. Snorkeling off the pier is great though watch out if the water is rough. Awesome animals and birds, though difficult to get a good picture with all the fenching. Great food, people. Just all around a great excursion.
We love this port, have been here before and saw the ruins, they are a must see. We took the Bacab jungle tour this time. It would have been better a little later in the season. No blooming flowers. The butterfly enclosure was good, though they had recently experienced a set back due to environmental reasons. The food and pool area was nice and relaxing.
