Room Type: Inside

This was a 12-day snooze of a cruise. The entire ship was closed down (including the "disco") by 2pm every night. All of the interesting on-board activities were cancelled and replaced with Trivia. The staff was lax; stewards were poor. Food was terrible. 12 nights was much too long to be stuck on the Norwegian Spirit.

Pros: the cookies

Cons: Bingo and Trivia were the most exciting activities on-board

Recommends Norwegian Spirit? No.

Entertainment
bingo time...
Food and Dining
Even the cotton-tops were vocal about the poor quality of this food.
Ship Quality
this ship was recently remodeled, but really shows its age.
Cabin / Stateroom
Room was adequate.
Service and Staff
1/2 the ships crew (the Filipinos) were the friendliest and moist diligent staff aboard; the rest of the staff was rude and unhelpful.
Belize City, Belize
don't get a pedicure from the toothless women just outside the port gate.
Don't Miss: cave tubing. tons of fun.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
the mayan ruins were nice.
Don't Miss: poolside bar at the port.
Curacao
beatiful beaches, great food, delicious drinks.
Don't Miss: the Aquarium Beach.
King's Wharf, Bermuda
purchased a $12 1-day pass. took a ferry to St. George; it was a cute town and a nice ride. took bus from St. Geoge to Hamilton; awesome ride! took bus to Horseshoe Bay Beach; the most beautiful place I've ever been. took bus back to ship with time to shop afterward.
Don't Miss: any beach on the island, but take the bus there; the ride is 1/2 the fun.
Santo Tomas De Castilla, Guatemala
the port is not an ideal spot for tourists.
