Review summary
The cruise started in NY, then one say at sea, Halifax, Bar Harbor, Boston and Martha's Vineyard. The ship was the NCL Spirit and is an older ship. Tipping is automatically applied to your bill and we didn't think the staff was as friendly as they might otherwise be. Food was not as good as other cruise lines and service was slow. In Bar Harbor, you can arrange a tour of Acadia National Park through Oli's Trolleys. It's less expensive and less crowded. When in Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard, be sure to see the cottages....amazing! We had gone on NCL once before and said not again, but the route and price changed our mind.Ship experiences

Pros: Great itinerary!
Cons: Too much "upselling" on NCL
Recommends Norwegian Spirit? No.
