Food and Dining

With Freestyle Dining, we loved not having to eat at a specific time. We did, however, miss the personalized service you get with having the same waiter each night. A couple of times we felt a bit rushed because of the amount of people waiting to get into the dining room. The food was good, nothing fabulous.

Entertainment

The evening entertainment was excellent and professional. The last couple of times on Royal cruises we felt the entertainment was of high school quality. The Spirit's song and dance group was wonderful and the comedy was great. Our teenagers spent their days playing ping pong, basketball and golf, and in the large video arcade.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a beautiful stateroom with balcony (the only way to cruise!). Our two kids had a roomy, outside stateroom with 3rd pull down bed which one used while the other had a double bed. We were perfectly positioned in the middle of the ship near an elevator. We did have some daily minor issues (dirty cups not removed, newsletter not received, etc.) with our cabin service which was disappointing but our kids had perfect service in their cabin.
