We really enjoyed the service and the food on board, both in the formal restaurants and at the Great Outdoors. The New Years party was a ball with party by the pool til dawn. The Swedish Captain was so friendly and mingled

I have been on other cruises before and have to say that this cruise was an overall good experience as opposed to an excellent experience. 

Pros:

-freestyle dining--I love that we could choose whenever to go to dinner and we don't have to feel awkward sitting with other people

-easy disembark--no hassle, easy to walk off, no long lines to get off ship

-service--stateroom, dining, guest services..all were friendly and attentive!

-lots of different bands to entertain us

-lots of different bars to go to

-I liked the new year's eve party, but there's no party like a party boat sailing in the caribbean sea! Party earlier like 10 pm and go til 2! The one i went to started at 11 and ended at 12:30. C'mon now, let's PARTY like it's 2015!

Cons:

-picture gallery was not as wide. places to take pictures were weirdly spaced out and photographer did not really know how to position us.

-library was hidden

-spa was not as grand (and there were no spa tours!) and was ridiculously expensive. Even if the prices were cut in half, I would still have to consider splurging the money...NCL please review and change this. I was looking forward to getting a massage on the cruise, but for almost $200...no thanks!

-food was not what i was expecting. was not as good as other cruises. Did not have large variety in buffet. The grill food was not fresh, there was no special omelette creations in the morning and there were no midnight buffets. What's up with that? Cruises are all about midnight chocolate buffets!! 

-I thought the two dining restaurants would have different menus so there would be more options, but both had the same menu. 

-Did not have large jewelry options in the shops

-NCL is known for their white hot parties, but if you're expecting it to rain out on the pool deck, then you need to make sure when it's moved inside, it will be twice as grand and crazy. However, i attended the inside white hot party due to the rain, and they did not even move the chairs in the inside lounge. picture this: there was only the crew dancing on the dance floor, and EVERYONE else was just sitting and watching them dance. It was like a lame junior high party.

Check-in was a breeze!  We boarded with no issue.  Enjoyed the shows in Stardust Theater! Bingo was $49 for two cards and only played 3 games.  The last game was a blackout game where they only called 47 numbers for the $5000 grand prize, but no one was very close.  Art auction was a unique surprise.  Guests had a chance to bid on some really special pieces by some of the world's best known artists.  The Max originals were truly inspiring but we don't make snap purchases - had we been able to consider this BEFORE the trip, we could have positioned ourselves to walk away with some very nice pieces.  We were at the Norwegian private island and we got back in time for the NFL game of the week on Fox.  I called the guys who control the channels and they changed from CBS to Fox so that I could watch my Packers!  Thanks so much for making this a truly special honeymoon for us!

My daughter and I had a ball during our cruise to the Bahamas. They treats us like a VIP. We plan to go back this year 2015 with rest of the family. We told some of our friends about our experience on the Norwegian cruise and they plan to go on a cruise on a near future.

Good experience but quality of food mediocre. The crew was really nice and helpful during the entire trip. We had an issue with our cabin really bad smell so we have been moved to another one. Shows not really amazing expect for the final night it was amazing. No efforts were made for Christmas dinner so a bit disappointed. An experience which was supposed to be memorable was just okay.

So glad to be invited to officer dinner event!!! Officer and crews here are really nice!!! still can not forget the dilicious food, perfect shows and other interesting event like auctions and parties.

I enjoy cruising.  It has been over 10 years since I've had the pleasure to cruise with Norwegian.  I must say in that time, there have been many changes....and I can't really say I like them.  I miss the individualized attention at meals....each night we had a different table.  The food wasn't as good as it used to be - some of the standards all cruises share weren't there....

But we did have a good time....thankfully I didn't gain any weight!

I was entering the dining area of the luding in the price.....a lady there was apparently sick and vomiting near the exit to the atrium area.....where there was a staff person offering to spray hands with sanitizier.....I asked her if she could call for help ...she did nothing......I was shocked and appalled........it appears some staff after talking with them...are not trained to take action when someone appears ill.....

The bahamas was not what i expected as it is but the trip was good the food on the cruise was very good and the accomodation were good too, activities were good needs a little bit more variety but still entertaining.

 3 day cruise

the 2 island stops was great. shopped at one and took one excursion.  laid on the beach on other

plenty of food on board any time. 

beverage station layout was overly crowded all the time. seemed to be located wrong.

pool and hot tubs always to full to get into. (when we got to the island we got in water)

plenty to do on the cruise, so not a problem. entertainment was great, funny.

crew was great.

The ship was nice but the buffet got us sick every time. The service was not very friendly and was not able to understand English making it hard to communicate. Wait staff was not friendly, very slow, food was not a very good variety but was good portions. The entertainment on the ship was limited at sea and more so when at dock. The lack of quality in the merchandise on the ship in the gift shops was very upsetting. Carnival had better quality jewelry. The Stingray excursion was wonderful and something we would do again as the staff for that was AMAZING!!! That was the Best part of the vacation for the money and the experience.

We enjoyed the vacation but would not do this ship or the Bahamas again. 

Everyone is very helpful and provides speedy service. I loved the ship itself it was so big and pretty, not to mention there were so many activities to do. The dining restaurants served five star meals and they were amazing. We rarely waited in line for anything. Me and my boyfriend had a great time.

This cruise offers a good break from the pressure of the holidays and very family friendly.  Very nice and courteous staff. Rooms and food are the typical cruise fare, although I did enjoy the crepe making station.  I definitely liked how hand hygiene importance was inforced

I've heard great things about cruises and it was an item on my bucket list which I cleared up many in 2014. However after experiencing booking issues with another cruise line I began to get weary and cancelled the idea of getting a cruise in and was only going to spend my time in Florida.. Thanks to Dana at Cruises not only I was able to get I me a great one with a great value. Still, I wasn't sure what I'd get and after a hiccup got a cool upgrade that enhanced my trip. After getting my bearings about the ship I took right to the joy and relaxation of cruising. NCL has exceptional service and there were so many options to do almost anything. The festivities, going ashore I loved my quick Nassau adventure and Great Stirrup Cay though manufactured made for the perfect beach experience. I had an enjoyable experience with many employees with exception to two but that is a low number in comparison. would look to use Dana at & NCL for my next adventure. Whenever that may be because it isn't likely anytime soon. Thanks for making that bucket list experience awesome.

Had a great time will be coming back soon the last day was the best on there private island. Food was ok I would suggest taking the time to eat at the restaurants instead of the buffet. The buffet food wasn't alway hot.

As a foreigner, I think Norwegian Sky has given me a very good memory and experience.

The waiters of freestyle are very nice. I love them.

The show is also very good. I was surprised when the crews show their talent.

One suggestion, could you offer the daily guidance in our own language? It will be helpful to us to better choose the programs. And as the tour route and programs is fixed, it may be not difficult to do so, isn't it?

overall cruise was great we had a few low points of boredom. This ship is built more for adults than for families with children.  One pool for the kids and a small arcade with mostly video games.  The food was good but repetative at times. We would recommned atlantis for all familes that was a fun day.

Food not the best quality! Bathrooms outside theater and restaurants were either

closed for cleaning (too many times) or the rest room was for only one person

at a time.( lines had formed ) Traveled on Epic before this cruise and had a wonderful experience.

I cannot in good faith recommend this cruise because even though there were certain things

that were enjoyable, I believe they were outweighed by the negative experiences.  The good:

Food was very good at the buffet (did not go to the dining rooms).  Our cabin balcony was

very enjoyable.  Room steward was very pleasant.  Negatives:  My luggage was searched for

contraband because of an unopened bottle of aloe juice and arrived much later with a big red banner with the word "ALCOHOL" on it.  This was very embarrassing to me as it was left outside my

cabin door for possibly hours before I realized it was there. The entertainment was not up to the

standard I had expected.  Too many of the on-board activities required more money.  I personally felt,during the cruise, that NCL was more focused on how they could make the most money than

my personal enjoyment.  I would not go back on this cruise and therefore cannot recommend it.

We had a wonderful time, we have been on this ship 3 times, it is a great get a way. The only thing I would change or improve on is the on board itinerary. There seemed to be too much time mid afternoon early evening with not much to do. I suggest sales, or raffles to be announced more clearly in the bulletin. Maybe to a ship scavenger hunt where we find different areas or things on the boat and have to take a picture and return with all the places first. More contests and the like. Also there has been an improvement on the buffet but still feel as if there needs to be a better variety like a taco bar or Chinese etc. We have also been on the Royal Caribbean, the same destinations, and comparatively there food on the buffet is more appealing, more selections. And your serving spoons got so hot you could hardly touch the ones in the back row. We will recommend and visit you again. :)
