It was very nice, I really enjoyed it. I would recommend it to others. The private island was awesome. The food was really good also. My children really enjoyed the room service. While we were there our bed broke, they came and fixed it quickly. They gave us chocolate strawberries and wine for the inconvenience. I would love to go again.

We cruised on the Sky in March 2015.  The advertised price was good.  We were disappointed when informed of the extra fees, not part of the shown price, especially the gratuities fee.  If such a fee is mandatory, why not show it in the price rather than be informed you must pay it AFTER booking the trip?  United should be obligated to inform customers of all mandatory fees prior to booking a trip.  The food on board was good and the shows were nice.  Our balcony stateroom needed an upgrade with older, dated fixtures and a marginally comfortable bed.  The service on board was good.  We chose the dining upgrade and really enjoyed the Le Bistro restaurant.  Cagneys may not be worth the money.  The ports were ok.  We really enjoyed our day kayaking/snorkeling at Peterson Cay while in Freeport.  We booked that tour on line with Calabash rather than using the cruise line offering for the same trip.  The price was much less (50%). 

First I would like to compliment the staff onboard the Norwegian Sky, they worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed and wanted.  The drill, excursions, and entertainment was very organized and easy to follow directions were given.  Overall a very enjoyable and relaxing cruise:)

My 2 complaints:

-Freestyle dining is awesome and I was happy to see hand sanitizer being encouraged but the small size of the beverage cups left a lot to be desired.  You already have to pay extra for soda but the juice and water cups were so small that you needed 3 to quench your thirst while dining.

-The internet policy on board was very confusing and absolutely ridiculous price wise.  When boarding you are ask to put a credit card on file for incidentals which is tied to your cabin number.  I have no issue with this but when anyone staying in the cabin, specifically those underage, are allowed to make purchases there can be all kinds of issues.  Kids all have devices such as smart phones and tablets, they know to connect to wifi, what they don't do is read the fine print about pricing.  I ended up incurring over $500 in internet charges because my 13 year-old was text messaging her friends with absolutely no idea of what it would cost. 

Dinner with Le Bistro waiter Steve or Strawberry her nick name made our trip. She provide the best service and hospitality.  However, our cabin 9046 had the worst foul smell coming from toilet laboratory. Our room must obviously be over the ship's sewer line. It made me sick the first night. I kept spraying Lysol to kill the germs which did not help any. I cruise 3 times a year with other carriers. This was my second time with Norwegian since August 2006. Overall, I had a pleasant time except when it was time to go to sleep in the sticky cabin 9046.  Stay away from Cabin 9046. !!!

I think you can do much better with your buffet diner rooms where very good service good, clean rooms, seems like there was no change in the food part of the buffet all the personal on board are good with your customers answer any question and if they didn't know they would find it out for you. this was my first time with this cruise line I would take another cruise with your cruise line again but on a different ship this was my 7th. cruise most of my cruise where with Royal Caribbean

Great cruise lots of fun.. Music playing everywhere. The drink card was worth it for us. Buffet breakfast great. I suggest for dinner going to one of the two dining rooms, the food there was great and not buffet style. We went to dinner every night around 9:30. Great first experience.

Cruise was a nice break, met expectations.  Helpful staff and the shore excursions were very nice.  State rooms were a little smaller than our only other previous cruise but it had balcony that was very nice. Not a much entertainment offered on this cruise, but that was OK as it was fairly short in duration.

We had a great time onboard. The ship was in excellent condition. All crew members were very polite, very friendly and very helpful to enjoy our cruise. The ship arrived very early at the habour and left in the late afternoon, giving us plenty of time to explore the islands. The quality level of the food was very good - even at the free buffets. My recommendation is to spent at least on dinner evening in the french restaurant - even if there is a surcharge. I was a little bit disappointed by Great Styrup Cay - as all activities cost extra money. Even a sun shade is charged. A big fun activity for us was the hippo slide, as we travelled with our kids (4yrs and 6 yrs) old. We traveled during spring break - in addition the Norwegian Sky is a great ship and it has a kids section - but families with small kids is not the main focus.

My first cruise turned out to be one of the best vacations ever.  The staff, the food, the drinks were fantastic!! Every bit of the ship was so clean. Everyone so friendly and wanted to please the guests. The Hot White Party at the pool was so much fun - excellent music, line dancing, great drinks!  We had a blast!! Be sure to go to Cagney's Steakhouse for dinner it was excellent!!  I will definitely sail with Norwegian again!!

I thought for the most part the Staff was pleasant and the ship very clean. Food was ok.  My bed was like a rock so now my back is paying for it.  I called 2x for a room upgrade and was told they were at full capacity. More likely to try a different cruise next time.

The crew could be more attentive and friendly.  It took over an hour to get a soda at the pool.  When I asked for the soda I had to ask 3 different servers and none brought it.  I as to speak to their superior and it took forever.  The person I complained to seemed to care less.  

What an enjoyable vacation.  Just LOVED the Sky.  The crew members were exceptional.  The officers top notch.  Now this is how to cruise!  Went on a Celebrity cruise and that was not a relaxing vacation.  It has far to many shopping venues on the ship making it like a mall.  I could stay home and go to the mall.  Celebrity's cafe also has a scattered layout.  You had to go from station to station to get food and then your eggs were cold by the time you got toast.  On the Sky as with all NCL ships we have cruised the layout flows.  Also the Sky has many public places to sit by windows and 'view' the ocean.  On Celebrity there were very few options to just sit quietly and watch the time slip by.  We had done a back to back on the Sky and they KNOW how to get the 'in transent' passengers off and on the ship in 30 minutes.  No other cruise line has done that  EVER.  One time we had to wait 4 hours and reboard with new embarkation passengers!

eating experience here was really bad - ice cream machine out of order most of the trip - had a bad smell coming from the garden café - would not recommend this cruise - entertainment was good

I have cruised several times before.  My wife had not.  Found this quick getaway over Valentines Day to allow her to sample.  Coming back from our shore excursion she thanked me for booking it and was looking forward to going again.  The Norwegian Sky is a little bit dated but the amenities were good for a shorter length cruise.   The staff were great and very helpful.  The food was good and plentiful on the 'Freestyle' buffets.  We did not try any of the higher end specialty restaurants.

We just finished our four night cruise to the Bahamas on the Norwegian Sky. The ship was beautiful and extremely clean!  The staff went above and beyond for us, especially those in the dining room/buffet and our room attendant.  Excellent service.  

We were however very disappointed with the lack of entertainment on the boat. The entertainment that was  There weren't really any shows or productions to enjoy at night. Overall we found it to be quite boring.  We aren't big drinkers and didn't want to spend the money on alcohol, which seemed to be the main focus of much of the entertainment.  There was a casino, but we didn't take part.  We found it was more of a party ship.  

The excursions they offered at each port were great, but very expensive.  It cost us $120 just to enjoy a beach day.  

Bahamas were nice, and the ship was nice but we wouldn't go on this cruise again. 

We couldn't have been happier.  Beautiful ship, extreemly helpful crew, no complaints.  The food was fabulous and the ship had plenty of places to be comfortable and get away from it all.  I would highly recommend the Norwegian Sky to anyone.

It was OK for the money. Would be a good first cruise for someone. Food was OK, Buffet only, which closed at 11pm. Could not get a drink or food after 11 except for room service, which had a service charge after 12am. The 2 restaurants were UP charges. Rooms & ship were clean. Staff was friendly. But again for a quick somewhat cheap getaway it's a descent value.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience.  Sin, the cruise director, did an amazing job making our trip fun and memorable.  He was always "ON".  We also enjoyed Russ, the comic, onboard.  He had us doubled over in laughter.  As well, the games were a total riot.

As you know nothing is ever perfect, though.  We thought the buffet food was excellent, but we were disappointed with the dining room's meal choices.  One more point,  I did not like the music choices played inside the buffet dining area.  Typically, it would be loud, rap music even during breakfast.  I enjoy rap, but I feel that it is more appropriately played in the bar areas not in the buffet dining area.

Overall, we have only shared how much we enjoyed ourselves and that we can not wait for our next opportunity to cruise with NCL. 

This is the worst of my cruise experience

even though this is my first time of sailing with Norwegian Cruise Line.

The crew are good , our room attendant was very friendly and polite

The food was substandard, not too rich

The Miami to Bahamas round trip is fantastic, especially the private island. It's really cool to stay on a caribbean island in the middle of nowhere. The blue sky and the blue ocean, the white sand and green trees, everything is perfect. Besides, there are no mobile signals at all, which means no one will bother you.
