My friend and I decided to try out our first cruise and are super glad we picked this one. Tons of activities, though mostly we enjoyed the open bar and sat by the pool/hot tubs. Room was pretty comfortable even for two large men (we had an interior because we planned to spend most of our time outside anyway). We even met a few new friends along the way.

Only downside was that the one excursion we really wanted to do was parasailing in Nassau but it was cancelled the morning of due to the boat breaking down. Oh well...back to the bar!

Great food ....great entertainment especially the comedian ...the free drink special should be on every cruise line !! The staterooms were clean and roomy....the staff was great and very friendly 

My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary by taking a cruise on the Norwegian Sky. We had a wonderful time to say the least. We had a balcony on the 10th deck mid ship and it was perfect. Close to the elevator, one deck below the pool and buffet. Food was great and the NCL employees were fabulous. They made our stay so enjoyable. The ship could use a little updating and public restrooms could be a little cleaner but overall we would definitely cruise on the NCL Sky again. It is one of the smaller ships in the NCL fleet (around 2000 people and 800 staff) and easy to get around. No lines at all. Free drinks brought out some funny moments to observe, even though we do not drink. People watching was a blast.

We were pretty disappointed in the % pay outs at the Casino. I was surprised to see how many machines were open as the Casino is not that big. Didn't take long to understand why. Heard quite a few complaints in that area.

Definitely will cruise NCL again.

Our favorite part of the cruise was relaxing on deck 6 where it was away from the noise my the pool.  The drinks being included was also a great perk. 

One thing that could be improved is the attitude of the people at the front desk, we found them to not listen to what we were saying.   Also NCL should add back the stop at the private island which was missed on this trip.

We would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone who just wants to get away for a few days.

Ship and staff were all very good, entertainment was surprisingly good as well for a small ship. Comedian was a roll in the isle riot both nights. Room was nice and had no issues. Only issue were the people on the trip. Let's just say just because you can have another drink for free doesn't mean you SHOULD have another one....some people are just going to be jerks and the all inclusive nature of the ship brings out the the idiots with all capital letters.

We had a great time!  Loved the "all inclusive" free style 3 day cruise.  Wish the private island was open and didn't love Freeport but overall an excellent vacation.  The entire staff was 5 star!  Will definitely go again.

This is my 6th cruise. And I  was impressed with the quality of the food specially being a weekend cruise. Our room was perfect and very very clean. The ship looked great and the entertainment was fantastic.  Great Jo!!  I will recommended to my friend.  The only thing is that this is more for couples or group of friends, not really a family cruise.

Had a great time. Was a little worried about the free drink package and people being out of hand, especially since I was traveling with my 8 year old. But, never saw anything get to crazy. The staff was great! The food in the dining rooms was very good...the buffets were okay, but nothing special. Would definitely go back!

Its are second time on the Sky, we love, plenty to do it, comedian was real funny, bring your drink shoes they'll get full. but the last nite I got sick,the chills and sweated all nite, we'll go again.

Only complaint that I have is that the shower water would only get luke warm. I am a hot shower person, so I froze taking a shower.

As far as the Cruise, it was wonderful!! We really enjoyed it. The crew was great, although some had a hard time understanding us.

I took my hubby on his first cruise for his birthday and he loved everything about it the problem we had is that it wasn't long enough.  Can't wait to take our next cruise...

Had a wonderful time - food was good, but the best part is the service - all employees go beyond the norm to provide an excellent experience.  My hat goes off to in particular the service in the specialty restaurants.

Fun time and worth it if you are driving distance to port. Certainly not worth Nice cabin and good cabin service. Nice older ship. Great steakhouse. Great drinks. Good casino with nice staff. Main dining room and buffet food- not so great. Great shopping staff. Good entertainment. Couple of really nice bars. Bingo jackpot is very misleading and expensive when prize money is considered. Disputing a charge very difficult process. When you arrive back to disembark, ship security wants to hold you hostage if there is a $50 dispute. It is an absurd process and a rude way to treat a customer in any business, especially the "hospitality" business. 

Food and drinks are overflowing. There was a time that you could choose between staying in the ship or doing shore excursion. The food is great and entertainment is also excellent. Steward assigned to our cabin is very responsive to our needs for cleaning and request for assistance.

I would like to have an additional pool though for non-drinkers and family oriented so it won't be awkward for teenagers to enjoy pool area. This is the part that my daughter did not enjoy since it was very awkward for her to be in the pool with guys drinking. Pool is not suited for 2,000 passenger ship. It was too small.

This is a quick and inexpensive getaway. The food was the best I've had in all the ships I have been on and they did not skimp on the alcoholic beverages even considering it was an "all-inclusive" package. The Sky is visibly dated but the crew were terrific, as expected. The balcony cabin I had was smaller than some inside and outside staterooms on other ships I have been on. The sound on the tv in my cabin was very distorted, even at low level volume. My internet only worked half of the time but I was compensated because I was told that there was a known issue on my deck. I don't have a sensitive bum, nor am I generally picky, but 1-ply toilet paper isn't going to cut it. The reviews I have see about Nassau were 50/50,but I really enjoyed the sea-land tour I took of the city and Atlantis. Overall I was satisfied, but I wouldn't take the same trip again aboard the Norwegian Sky.

Food was poor even at the specialty restaurants. Way too crowded. The 2 pools were packed like sardines in a can. I cannot imagine having a family with kids in their "family pool". Entertainment was good. Staff was good. They don't stay in port very long. We left at 6 and Royal carribean left at 11. Wouldn't do it again

I wanted to cruise so I would not have to worry about cooking, cleaning, etc.  I do wish the food was better, but it wasn't "bad."  Crew members sitting in the back during bingo were rather loud, making it difficult to hear the person running bingo.

this cruise is great ,boat is small the they have food all day non stop , everyone over indulge them selves on the free drink package a little bit rowdy , 

Loved the food!  The people and the ship!  The only negative thing is that i purchased some duty free liquor from the ship and they didn't put it in a duty free bag so when I arrived at the airport they confiscated all my bottles.  Bottles that I could not purchase in the states.  I'm very upset about that . I called the cruise line and am currently on hold and have been for over 48 minutes. 

My boyfriend and I loved this cruise! The food and drinks were diverse but excellently prepared. My favorite was the extra sushi bar, which was very good and not at all expensive. The staterooms were extremely clean and well kept; our steward was efficient and friendly. Getting on and off the ship was easy and the staff was helpful with any questions we had. Extra activities on the boat such as Trivia or Battle of the Sexes were fun and engaging. The activity hosts were always energetic, helpful, and absolutely hysterical! We couldn't stop laughing! We also attended some of the seminars on shopping, diamonds, and watches. They contained helpful information for us when we went shopping in Nassau. The guest comedian, Russ Rivas, engaged with the audience very well and had everyone on the edge of their seats.

Only thing I didn't like about this cruise was during the late evening parties, little kids (16 and under) were allowed on the top deck to dance among the very drunk adults. It was really awkward for us to be drinking and dancing next to 8 year-olds so my boyfriend and I ended up leaving all the parties early to go do something else. It would be very hard to keep the kids out of the party, as it is an open deck, but still. Very awkward.
