Review summary

Had a great time. Was a little worried about the free drink package and people being out of hand, especially since I was traveling with my 8 year old. But, never saw anything get to crazy. The staff was great! The food in the dining rooms was very good...the buffets were okay, but nothing special. Would definitely go back!

Lots of fun activities, safe environment. My 8 year old loved it so much, she wanted to leave the beach in Nassau to go back to the ship and play.

This was my first time in an inside cabin. We had a child with us this time, so it was a little cramped with the couch pulled out. However, we weren't in the room a whole lot since it was a short cruise.

Ship tip

Loved the Topsider lounge at the front of the ship. Kind of hard to find but has a great view, especially when leaving port. Cagney's was fantastic...the Oreo Cheesecake was to die for!!

We stayed in South Beach. Was only a $28 Cab ride to the port. Neat place..beautiful beach...very busy and noisey though.

Nassau, Bahamas

we didn't book an excursion, we met a cab driver, Big Sam (who really isn't that big lol), at the port. He drove us all around town, giving us a tour and then took us to Nirvana beach. After leaving the beach, we stopped at the cave and got some awesome pics. He made our day great, was friendly and honest. Bonus was he only charged us $30 a person to do all of this. I highly recommend asking for him!!

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

We didn't get to go here. They shut the island down for renovations and we ended up at Freeport instead. Wasn't too impressed with Freeport.
