Had never been on a cruise before, so I did not really know what to expect going aboard. I was impressed by the service on the ship from the get-go, however; they greet you right on the deck with champagne and welcome you aboard. That same service continued and even got better. A shining example would be when dining at any restaurant aboard the ship, but especially Le Bistro, Il Adagio, or Cagney's Steakhouse (French, Italian, upscale American cuisine respectively). There was no need unattended, the staff were genuinely happy (it showed), courteous, and attentive. The food was of course excellent and plentiful, no matter what time of the day or night you might be hungry.

We recently sailed on The Norwegian Sky to the Bahamas and their private island, Great Stirrup Cay. This was my first time on a cruise, and my boyfriend's fifth. We have never been on a Freestyle cruise. It was an amazing feeling. Their island was beautiful and well kept. There was no need to purchase snorkel gear because the neon colored tropical fish would swim in and around us all in the lagoon. The BBQ food was delicious and plentiful. And the island gift shop had COKE! (we don't like Pepsi products) Before returning back to The Port of Maimi, we made arrangements for a future cruise. Even though we heard about The Epic, we loved the size of The Sky and the ratio of staff to guests. Wonderful experience.

For an older ship, it was immaculate. Staff was great. Only sit down dinner options without a cover we're 2 but the food was good.

The ship seemed in good condition. The food was just okay, unless you paid extra to go to one of the higher end restaurants. Coffee was terrible and the drinks were overpriced, more than on other ships. The rooms were fairly clean. There were great excursions offered, which I would definately recommend doing. The staff was friendly for the most part. It was very quick getting on/off the ship, very organized. Entertainment (comedy shows, etc) was so-so. Overall, we had fun on the cruise. I would recommend it. There weren't many kids on the ship. But it was nice for a honeymoon.

we had a great time on this ship. The especially good points were: no formal or fancy dressing, convenient dinging options, ports every day, also enjoyed the "quiet area" on deck twelve which is something that was not on other ships I've been on. The best thing I liked was the price.

Since this was my first cruise, I was impressed with the size of the ship the stateroom was very roomy and the restaurants were very nice! It was the most beautiful ship I'd ever seen!

Peolple was very nice, service people very professional. food was excelent, any time, any place.

ABOUT THE TIPPING, THAT SHOULD BE UP TO THE GUEST TO DECIDE WHAT TO GIVE,,AND WHO TO GIVE IT TO, I HAD READ BEFORE HAND THAT 12.50 PER DAY PER PERSON WOULD BE TAKEN OUT,,AND PUT ON YOUR BILL, I HEARD SO MANY PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS,, THEN OTHERS WERE WRITING IN TIPS AS THEY SIGNED FOR SOMETHING, ENTERTAINMENT WAS GOOD,, BUT THE SHOW HOST WAS A AUSTIN POWERS LOOK ALIKE AND SOUND ALIKE,,AND THAT WAS A BIT TOO, TOO, MUCH, (JUST ANNOYING)

Norwegian Sky is beautiful and active. The service is good, all people are nice, friendly and helpful. Activities on board are very interesting, but have to pick only a couple to try each night. I especially like the kid's corner, which arranged so many interesting activities for my 3 years old, and I could find my own time to enjoy a late night show. We all love it and plan to be back.

This was our first time on a cruise and we had a great time. we want to do it again and again....:)

For being on other cruises this didnt meet up to my standards.When getting on ship,it was rush rush & didnt know where to go.

The entire trip was wonderful. I went with my 6-year-old daughter. We saw shows that included singing, dancing, two magic shows, a comedian, bingo, and an art show. We swam in the pool a lot, aplayed ping pong, learned a few dance steps, and ate 4 meals a day. There was always something to do which was great becasue my daughter is not the sit by the pool and relax kind of girl. We were always on the move and never bored.

Extremely clean and very accessable to every location, excellent gym, beautiful decor.

This is a great "cheap" cruise. For the money the best Cruise available.

The ship was beautiful, very clean and the staff was always very helpful. The shows were OUTSTANDING!!! Don't know how the keep up the pace. The only negative was the overall quality of the food. I know it's hard with the free style. My group was not willing to try the upsale restaurants which I will definitely try next time.

I LOVED THE CRUISE BUT THE COST OF EATING DINNER AT $12.00 PER PERSON WAS OUTRAGEOUS. OTHER CRUISE LINES IT'S INCLUDED EXCEPT THE FANCY RESTAURANTS (NORMALLY IT'S ONE OR TWO)YOU ONLY HAD THE BUFFET THAT WAS FREE & IT'S NOT ENJOYABLE WHEN YOU HAVE TO EAT AT THE SAME PLACE EVERY NIGHT. MOST OF US TRAVEL NOW ON A BUDGET & i WAS STUCK USING MY CASH SPENDING MONEY FOR GIFTS & SOUVENEIRS ON THE ACCOUNT. I WAS VERY SAD THAT I COULD NOT BUY ALL OF MY FAMILY A GIFT.

Had a perfectly fine time for the price we paid. The food quality was on the low side, but overall not a bad way to spend a few days. A week on the ship is NOT recommended.

good value for the cost conscious traveler, The food was below avg and it cost just to sit at any restaurant, which is crazy especially since they were almost always empty, and the bar servers were EXTREMELY over agressive in asking if you want a drink we were asked no less than 6 times within 10 minutes of sitting down everywhere, and I can understand thats where they make profits, BUT they really take away from enjoying yourseves when you keep getting harrassed everywhere you go.

I really enjoyed this cruise. It was something new for me, because I had only been on Royal Carribean. So, as I compared the two. I found subtle differences. Royal Carribean seemed easier to get around on. As far as from place to place, got lost quite a bit on The Sky. Other than that the two lines are very similar. What was neat for me was I went on the Enchantment of the Seas about 6 years ago and then Matt Baker was the cruise director. When I recieved the Freestyle Daily on this ship and saw his name, I was very excited. Knew from just seeing his name we are going to have a great time. Indeed we did.
