Cruised on the Norwegian Sky, that was clean throughout the cruise. Room size was acceptable. Room was always clean and towels were always available. Dining areas were clean and clean tables were always available. Layout of dining room was inviting and easily accessible.

Intent was a quick getaway between the end of my 10 year-old daughter's school and the beginning of summer camp. Former colleague and her group had booked this ship this date--when she quoted the price she paid I had to do it. Got my friend, brother, sister-in-law and nephew to come along. All were first-time cruisers, two over 60 years old. Norwegian delivered a memorable cruise experience for all of us. For me, it was the first cruise I've been on without a problem of some sort. Everything worked. The cabin was well-situated and exactly what was expected despite the ship's age. Bed was firm, comfortable. Great service from our cabin steward. Extras I'd ordered to celebrate a birthday were delivered promptly. Restaurant service was impeccable. Food in MDR was good, unspectacular, nicely presented. Steak came as ordered instead of overcooked. Lobsters on first night were fine as were all other meals. Buffet was adequate, decent selection, breakfast was fine. Birthday dinner at Le Bistro was excellent, notably the rack of lamb and creme brulee. When the Captain came to the table and sang "Happy Birthday" to my sister-in-law she was delighted. It was polite and kind. When he told a story about a boy who was cured of autism by swimming with wild dolphins to my daughter it was sweet AND smart. Which shore excursion do you think she wanted? The crazy Hawaiian theme with the art, color schemes, decor and room names is kind of weird for a ship out of Miami that touches the Caribbean, but it's fun and eye-catching. The White Hot Party was moved into the night club due to inclement weather but it was surprisingly fun even for this old man. Karaoke in the upstairs sports bar was more inviting and less intimidating than on other ships. 

     Visit to Great Stirrup was sensational. We loved the water slide, the waverunner tour and snorkeling. Barbecue buffet was plentiful, fresh and offered some delicious salads with tropical ingredients. THAT was a surprise. Lack of natural shade trees is commercially solved--the cruise line accepts your money to rent this canvas wraparound chaise lounge enclosure. Nassau visit was short, we went on our own to Ft. Fincastle, Queen's Staircase, Ardastra Gardens (Marching Flamingos!), Straw Market. Had time for a late leisurely lunch at Arawak Cay Fish Fry's most celebrated restaurant, Frankie Gone Bananas. Last night at sea all of us adults won a couple of bucks in the casino (amazing!). My daughter found happiness between the video arcade, pools and hot tubs I was content to relax on surprisingly uncrowded decks, play ping pong, drink and dance.

food was decent- specialty restaurant better than regular dining areas. ship was fun with decent shows. room service was spotty. I couldnt believe there was a 20 yo 12" box tv in stateroom. even if someone doesnt spend much time in room , that was a stunner. overall I give cruise a 5.5 out of 10

All staff members made passengers feel like they were old friends. All areas were clean and safety was always a priority among the crew members. Entertainment was superb.

We recently had a girl's weekend away cruise....and our cabin was great...and very clean...the staff on embarking were lively and friendly. Our Cruise was on a great start...however, that came to a quick end when a gentleman in his 50's decided to jump from another level into the pool. Why no one stopped him or no one saw him climb to this level via safety netting is beyond me...it could have been that it all happened too quickly. Upon jumping or even falling this gentleman landed head first into the concrete tiled ledge of the pool. There was blood everywhere and it was coming out of his ears and nose, which makes me believe that he did not live due to the amount of blood that was everywhere. I found this very traumatic as I was 8-10 feet away. My girlfriend was in tears and the both of us to this day and moment cannot get the sound of him hitting the tile or the image of him laying in the large puddle of blood. We were all in shock and shaking...and subsequently everyone around us in the bar started drinking more heavily because of this incident. I was amazed that at no time did the Norwegian Crew escort us away from the scene, nor did they speak to us about the incident...nor did the bar stop serving throughout this nightmare. I do know that the Cruise Ship turned around after sailing for approximately two hours and returned to Miami which makes me believe since they did not helicopter or speed boat him/coastal guard him back that he died there on the ship. I do not know as we were never told anything. I am a first time Cruiser and although I thought the ship was clean and service was good and thought that our waitress for the cruise Anna was amazing...and even loved the fun had by the pool with the contests etc - I do however now associate cruising with the image of this man laying in a puddle of blood and how things were dealt with.

Cruise was enjoyable, recommend main dining rooms- food very nice and good service. Thought Cagney's steak house over rated- not worth additional $$- none of our party enjoyed as much as we had hoped. Self serve options ok, a bit limited compared to other cruises. Rooms need freshening. Decor dated on entire ship. Staff very professional & friendly. Enjoyed music in lounge and by pool.

It was my first cruise so I did not know how it was going to be, Overall the cruise was awesome and there was alot of things to do . The staff where friendly and the cabins where perfect, each night the housekeeping would come in to make animals with the towels. I also took it when it was summer time so Great stirrup cay was enjoyable and the restaurants where Delicious and the line wasn't too long. Nassau was good too, I had a good time visiting the hotel and took alot of pictures.

Norwegian Sky is a cruise ship that's beautifully and elegantly decorated. The staff provides excellent hospitality with a smile and excitement. Each day was a never-ending adventure of fun with a wide variety of ship activities, shore excursions, and on-board entertainment.

SOOO Disappointed. The pool was closed when we woke up on 2nd full day and never reopened- they decided it would be a good time to paint it, etc. No ice in rooms- ice sculptures were half melted when they brought them out, hamburgers and hotdogs every day, etc.

The ship itself was great, but it just seemed that everywhere we went it was hard to get a drink and nobody was really that friendly. The shows in the theatre were great. The food at the buffet and in the main dining was just OK. The activities (trivia games, contests, etc.) seemed like they were just going through the motions. With that said, I definitely would do this cruise again, however, only if it was lower price than the Royal Carr. Majesty of the Seas. If they were the same price, I'd go with Royal hands down. If you are subject to sea sickness, Norwegian Sky is great though--the ship is newer and much more stable than Majesty.

The pool area was a great set up and the atmozphere Nice. Moreover, the standards of the restaurants onboard was upper class compared to other cruises we have done.

Thsi was our first cruise with Norwegian. Since it was only a 3 day we intentionally went with Norwegian for the \"free style\" approach. Freestyle cruising will certainly be one of the draws to bring us back to Norwegian.

Lovely ship, a bit older and showing some wear on the carpets but otherwise, lovely.

not much for kids to do. I was told there was lots for them. Arcade prices were too much, I assumed it would be a free thing. kids program poor. food was good, pool wasn't much. had to pay for full soda pkg, wasn't told this, even after talking to someone first day. Did not purchase for two kids until 2nd day, got to pay for all 4 days. I had plenty of other things to pay for and bought them a glass of pop in lounge the first night not knowing this. Due to having to skip first island to let Royal Grandeur have our port, we did not get to go to Great Stirrup Cay. The ocean was choppy for tenders, but had our schedule not been changed, we would have been there the day before. I know the ship that had a fire needed the port, but it seems somehow we could have been compensated for missing an entire island.

This was cruise num 6 for me and it was the most horrible one. Il begin with the food. The buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner was always cold, had hardly any taste. The dinning room had stail bread sitting on the table for who knows how long, it was always cold, did not have butter had to ask for it. There was no formal night, which iI was looking forward to dress up at least one night to take some pictures and have as a surveneir. I got stuck in the elevator one evening after dinner. Up on the deck you had to find some one to remind them to restock on glass in order to get something to drink. I could not wait to get off the ship to buy some food. I ordered a bottle of wine which was delivered with out a cork oppener, When I called room service and ask for one, I had to wait for 1 hr. Not much entertainment, comedy once on day 2 and once on day 3. The games were the only thing I really enjoyed, they had a couples game on day two and another adult game on day 3 was good. Besides that everything else was very disappointing. I do not recomend it at all.

We weren’t sure what to expect. Sailed through a thunderstorm the first night and wasn’t sure if the rocking ship was from that or our drinking 😁

The crew members were great, the ship is small with small cabins, and spaces are crowded. Did not stay at shows because the area is so crowded and lots of folks have to stand. Lines for the buffets are long and slow, the casino leaves a lot to be desired. We had made many crusies on Carnival and wanted to try something different, we will be back on Carnival for our next cruise
