The ship was perfect for a short cruise. Plenty of chairs on the decks, plenty of tables in the dining room.

I have previously cruised before and found those experiences to be wonderful and memorable. I expected my trip with NCL to be similar, but sadly, found myself mistaken. There are a few points I'd like to address concerning the unpleasantness of the trip. - Food quality was lacking. A number of meals in the main dining rooms and buffet were cold, bland, and lacking the discerning eye of a head chef. I ordered room service multiple times and each time, the grilled cheese was simply a slice of unmelted cheese between two pieces of bread. I understand the logistics of providing unlimited food around-the-clock is challenging, but lack of attention to basic details seriously hinders the experience of any guest on board. - The cleanliness of the ship was less-than-ideal. This is one area which I believe is an absolute must for any modern day cruise line. The floors were littered with trash, the sheets and towels provided were stained, and many of the toilet facilities were greatly in need of attention. While spring break attracts a \"younger\" more \"party friendly\" crowd, allowing one's standards to fall because of this is simply unacceptable. The risk to human health and safety is too great and NCL needs to re-evaluate their policy regarding ship cleanliness. - The professional demeanor of guest services left much to be desired. Upon boarding, I requested a connector for the two twin beds in our cabin; it took two days and multiple requests before anything was done. The light in the bathroom didn't work properly and, even after multiple complaints, I found myself tolerating a broken bathroom light. These are just a few of the unpleasant instances that detracted from the enjoyment of my cruise. Low cost need not mean low quality. Unfortunately, this rang true for my experience sailing on the Norwegian Sky. The ship itself is old (for a cruise ship), but this is no excuse to drop one's standards of quality. We got on the ship early (maybe too early), and our room was dirty (what a disappointment). After an hour, of being aboard, and letting the staff know about the problem, it still wasn't clean. Eventually, they cleaned the room, and made up for the problem with some chocolate strawberries and an on-board credit to our account. Guest services then checked on us a few times throughout the cruise to make sure everything was okay with our room, which it was from then on. The itinerary was great. Overall, this cruise was okay for the price.

It was great, even though it was the smaller of the cruise ships, it was still big to get lost. Lol

Good for first timers. I prefer the new fancy ships with less kids.

The ship was very well take care of by the staff.

As first time cruisers we did not have expectations and did not know what to anticipate on the ship. We did our research on destinations and cruise lines and settled on Norwegian for the 'freestyle cruising'. It was a great experience! We chose to eat dinner one night with another couple which was a lot of fun but also enjoyed being able to have our own table for nice dinners. We enjoyed the activities on the ship and the ease of booking excursions. Overall a great experience!

The ship was nice and clean compared to other cruise lines we have done in the past. We are a couple in our mid 30s and there were not a lot of people our age. A lot of 20s and then 60+. We thought the pool deck was pretty lame. Four hot tubs overflowing with 20 year olds almost no one in the pools. They never played good music around the pool. On other cruises they play music and get people dancing for hours. Not that we dance but enjoy watching others usally spend the entire day hanging out by the pool drinking and watching others. But not on this ship the pool deck was pretty empty. Food was not good! Hot dogs and hamburgers everyday on the buffet. We went to the less formal resturant for dinner and ordered a steak, what a joke maybe a quarter inch thick and chewy. A far cry from other cruise lines. Staff was very friendly ship was clean stateroom was normal, they just need better food and better poolside activities.

Ship was clean, food was good, nassau and freeport were a blast.

Nice mid-sized ship

This was my second time at the Sky, and I love it. I think that is a perfect option for a weekend getaway. Wherever you go, is clean at all times, have beautiful sights, the restaurants and bars are cozy and elegant. Food is delicious, you have several optiona at all times.I love to travel in this cruise.

The ship was clean, that were activities and we ported several times. The food was just ok. If you take this cruise i recommend that you buy the special dinning package.

Ship has a simple layout, easy to find make your way around. Could only find one water fountain to fill up water bottles.

It was a bit old and the pool was really tiny. It was a bit disappointing after sailing on the Pride of America last year.

Excellent bar service. Excellent steakhouse. Disappointed in dining room(s) cuisine. Steward did not make towel origami until tipped! Would like adult only hot tubs or hot tub time.

We enjoyed the cruise very much. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic. The time in port was more than sufficient. The entertainment was first class.
