Review summary

NIce cruise if you are part of a group or family without kids.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
We had assigned a 10am Embarkation time for the group, when we arrived and the check in was fast, but then we were informed that the check in would just start at 11:30 for assisted customers. We could have easily saved 2.5 hours of sitting in the nice terminal, doing nothing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining rooms OK, nothing special. The Cagney’s Steakhouse is very good and it was the highlight of the trip. Buffet shuts down with people still on the line even-if it is 15 people - something that we have never experienced in any other cruise. Bars: Locals is the best choice, best bartender and service.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Casino and Drinking.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows were cancelled and we are giving 3 stars because the Solo Guitarist David Conley is outstanding - great songs in a “one man band show”

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Best Bartender: Mr. Putu from Locals excellent drinks and service. Best Waitress: Mrs. Tathiana Sakova - Pool deck and Bliss Bar Best Waiter: Mr. Silva from Cagney’s Steakhouse

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Cleaning was good at open areas, and cabin cleaning was excellent.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
NIce balcony, but smaller than other similar ships. Again, cleaning on the cabin was excellent. Curtains on the shower shows the age of the ship, and there is no way two people can use the bathroom - very small.

Ship tip

Good for short trips.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

5 out of 5
Excellent beach, highlight of the cruise

Nassau, Bahamas

2 out of 5
It did not change much over the last 20 years….and there was 5 cruises ships at the same time, very crowded and confused.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

1 out of 5
Industrial port, nothing to see.

Disembarkation

2 out of 5
Ship arrived at 7am sharp, but the Customs only allowed the ship to disembark at 9am - this was by far the worst disembarkation experience with 4 very long lines inside the ship both aft and forward! And there was just two CBP officers watching and four different checkpoints, so it took more than forty minutes to disembark.
