Overall did I like the sky -eh. To small. I rather go on the big ships. Did I enjoy my vacation absolutely. Best part- the food. Palace to be exact. Room-tiny tiny tiny tiny. Design- it looks nice but the layout is old and choppy. Nothing flows layout wise. Crew- absolutely amazing!! Ports- DR was good except the cancellation of our excursion which was notified the night before we docked. Sunscape resort day pass was fun. St Thomas always amazing, Tortola was a joke. 6am to 1pm. Come on. GSC was amazing!!! Go to the shows- I prefer the shows on the larger ship but they were good. Comedy show is a must. Wish they had more than 2. Overall it was good. Not great. Won’t be back on a small ship that’s for sure.

The BEST food I’ve had on a cruise. The main dining room meals were a solid 200 out of 100. Take the time to go to the MDR for breakfast lunch and dinner. The Palace is the best MDR. The crew there were outstanding. If you see more than one thing you like, get it!!
La Cucina was okay. Le Bistro was fabulous as always. Buffet food is buffet food. But definitely go to the main dining room for basically every meal

The pool was amazing. Best pool I’ve been in. As for other activities it was kinda lame other than the wine tasting and bingo. I’m use to a larger ship with more activities so a smaller ship has a total difference vibe.

Best crew ever! Our cabin steward Kiran was amazing!!! Every crew member was so friendly and helpful. We really were able to get to know some of the crew on board and hear about their life and it was just amazing to meet so amazing people.
Always recommend to fill out a comment card. But it is also very difficult to make notice of someone when everyone on that ship made a great impact on our vacation.

Ship was very clean! Rooms were always clean. The only negative was on the left side of the ship there was a constant smell of sewage. Couldn’t go out on our balcony or even walk around deck 6 on the left side without getting that nasty smell.
The new designs were very nice. The only negative is that it is an older ship so it’s very choppy when it comes to location of places.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabins are small. Point blank they are small. Doable if it’s one or two people but more than that it’s tight. The couch bed when it is pulled out you will have to climb over the couch bed to get to the balcony. You also will have to crawl in and out of the end of the bed.
We were on the left side of the ship and there was a constant smell of sewage when we go out to our balcony. So we really didn’t enjoy going out there due to the smell. Which is a shame since the balcony was huge and had chairs and a small table.
Room was always clean which is fabulous
First time at DR. We had an excursion but it was cancelled the night before we arrived. (Weren’t to happy about that). Went to Sunscape resort for a day pass. Really nice resort definitely recommend.
Also be careful outside of the port. Not the safest place.
Taxi rides are EXPENSIVE!! Keep that in mind. I definitely recommend using the taxis in the port. Little safer than walking outside the port gates.
Shopping was good. Definitely aren’t finished building the port. There is no beach access but there is a pool. I think it would be better if there was a beach access.
I love Tortola but this experience wasn’t the best.
The port time was horrible. 6am-1pm. Come on that’s a joke.
If you’re going to Tortola. Go to the beach. Don’t waste your time shopping. Straw market was basically empty and whatever was there had the same things. Bunch of businesses were closed probably due to the pandemic. Very sad port of call.
Loved GSC! Loved how the beverage package worked on the island and food was included!!
Avoid the first main beach. Walk down past the light house to the second beach. Much quieter, nice waves, amazing shells, sting rays. Also go to the food truck that has pulled pork sandwich, mahi mahi sandwich, chicken sandwich and seafood ceviche! Get the rum cake too. Avoid the buffet.
Straw market on the island was lame. But remember you can bargain the price!
