Review summary

Had to use an expiring free cruise offer and we liked this itinerary. The ports were wonderful, but the old ship was booooorring. I'm sure the new and larger Norwegian ships are awesome, and we picked this one so its our own fault, but sheesh. Got lots of sleep for lack of other options.

No sea day brunch, MDR food was uneventful. No elegant night specials like lobster or prime rib. Just Meh. Buffet was short and uninspired. French restaurant and steakhouse disappointing.

Typical but with smaller bathroom than same category on most Carnival ships.

Ship tip

Pick a newer and larger ship. If this had been our first cruise we may have never wanted to cruise again.

Absolutely beautiful views from the hill tops and a wonderful beach on the best of tortola tour. Perhaps the most beautiful of the islands in the area.

Its no half moon cay, but still ok if you don't mind crowds instead of serenity.
