For our first cruise we came into it with eyes wide open. Now I know more fully what I would like and will probably not choose this line again. It would be a great time for short get always or the party crowd.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
It went pretty smoothly. We arrived at 1:30 and there was a line but it moved quickly. The only problem we had was finding the terminal. We followed the map directions in our e docs and we ended up at the port offices. I had to pull over and call NCL terminal information. It’s terminal B.

Food and Dining
1 out of 5
I was very disappointed with the size of the buffet, the selections and the food in general. It was either dry or over cooked. We could could not get to the bars because of the mass of college students blocking the way. I felt we were overlooked as paying guests and rushed through everything. We had the staff serve us food and drinks and felt rushed through that as well. The dining room was the best place to go for a chance at a decent meal.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The activities seemed fun and would have participated more if there was room but the students took all the seats. Too any people for the small areas. Could not get to the pool at all, no loungers available at the sea day because our port was cancelled. There was drink garnishes floating in the kiddie pool but that was my only choice for a swim on one of the port days. The evening entertainment was awesome! The production shows were fantastic and the comic was very funny!

Service and Staff
3 out of 5
The staff was trying to be friendly, most were overwhelmed. Our room steward was very attentive and most of the waiters in the dining room were accommodating.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Very clean and beautiful spaces. Loved Bliss
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Small cabin but clean. Was a little worn looking but ok for a short term cruise. The only complaint I had was the noise coming from the spring breakers next door blaring their music all night. Beds were comfortable.
Ship tip
Don’t book this ship if you want to relax and enjoy your food. If you’re looking to party then this is the place for you.
The free beach was a quick 15 minute walk. It was nice but get there early as it filled up quickly. Shops were plentiful as was the food selections. Fun day. Chairs are $10 and was supposed to come with free WiFi but I couldn’t get on it.
This was very confusing and frustrating. We were the last group called and when we were we waited in a long line that wrapped around the ship. When we got to the end our room card said we had financial issues and we were routed to another area to wait. This area had 1 man looking into everyone’s account. We waited 45 more minutes to be told we had a refund and by a the time we straightened that out there were only two other people on the ship. We followed the gangplank down to the terminal and had to keep asking where to go to get out and get our luggage. There were no clear directions and everyone around us was confused.
Actually, no matter which cruise line, whenever you cruise during March break on a 3-4-5 day cruise and even on 7 day ones, you will be stuck with too many Marchbreaker drinker kinda party animals...I don't cruise in March anymore. I try to avoid school holidays. Ships are then more enjoyable😉
