If you want to snorkel, February is not the right month to go to the Bahamas.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Went as expected, employees where very nice and helpful
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
We mostly eat in the dining rooms and the food was barely warm. We had to request that the onion soup be hot. If you ordered a second plate that one was usually much better then the first plate. The buffet setup creates a lot of wait time. On Royal Caribbean you can go around, see if anything seems good to you and then get in line for the food that interests you, not on NCL.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
This is en older ship and has very few activities for the non drinker. We had to spend and extra day at sea, it was boring.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The comedian and the magician where very good. For the rest, déjà vue.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
There were some very nice employees on the ship, but with the freestyle dining you don’t really get to know the waiters as you are never at the same table.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
We found it difficult to get around the ship. I forgot to print out the ship map before our departure and we’re never offered one on ship.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
The first day, I had to clean the bathroom. I had read on blogs that people did that but had never experienced it myself. I think the turn around time given to the room Stewart is to short. The rest of the week the cabin was clean. The ventilation system in the room was extremely noisy. Even my earplugs did not help with the noise.
Again our shore excursion got cancelled, so we only go had 2 choices, so we did the grand tour. Not much to see and when we finally got to the beach we were told to be in the bus at 2:15, we waisted and hour of beach time waiting for the chauffeur.
