Review summary

Not sure if I will ever do Norwegian again. Other ships I have been on are much nicer and you can actually feel like you are relaxing in a wonderful place. I would look into other cruises. It was like going to Hawaii and staying at a cheap hotel.

Good day. I hope you find this review helpful. Where shall I begin? First off I have been on 3 cruises with Norwegian. The embarkation is always seamless.

The food was worse than sub-par. I am not a picky eater anything will do but the food on this cruise was horrendous. Breakfast at the buffet was good but who could screw up breakfast. Lunch was limited. The only thing I recognized was the salad bar stuff. In the back of the ship they had hamburgers which were okay but how many days can someone eat hamburgers. For dinner we went to the restaurant. The service there was impeccable and the food was also good. I ate roasted chicken ever night including Ash Wednesday because there was no special menu or accommodations for the occasion and I am allergic to fish. I will probably go the hell for it but I think confession can cover it. I will also say that the drinks were flowing freely.

There were no real on board activities but I didn't want to do anything anyway because I was just trying to escape the New York cold weather for a few days.

I have been on 3 Norwegian cruises before and the staff was always great. Not on this cruise They acted as if they were ding you a favor. No responses to thank yous, never saw the steward for our room, even the guy selling future cruises wasn't nice.
