Review summary

When you get your final bill, the "service charge" added always upsets me - and not because I don't want to tip deserving people. Charge us up-front for the behind the scenes personnel and let us tip our room steward and dining room wait staff as deserved.

Dining rooms were very accommodating for our party of 7. Buffet area is rather small and was always very crowded at breakfast times.

Unfortunately, the cigarette smoke from the casino can be smelled throughout the central areas on decks 5 & 6. If smoking really bothers you, skip this vessel.

Cleanliness was great. Ship common areas seem cramped. Pool deck area is smaller and always seemed to be full to capacity.

Common areas are smaller than on newer ships. Smoke from the casino permeates central areas on decks 5 & 6.

We purchased transportation and entry to Paradise Cove through Viator. Great idea. Not much else to see in Freeport.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

Nice stop to relax and snorkel. The AI on drinks is a nice feature. Purchased the stingray city tour. Water is knee to waste high and no fins are allowed. A mask helps to see the underwater action. You get the opportunity to feed squid to the stingrays. Grandsons loved it.

First of all, I am so glad you had a good cruise. I do agree about the tip policy. We tip well for good service, have had times when, I didn't think someone needed much of a tip.😋😋

The service charge should be no surprise, especially if you’ve cruised before. If you don’t like seeing it on your final bill, it’s easy enough to prepay it before you cruise. 🍸
