We thoroughly enjoyed the day and a half in Havana and were only mildly disappointed that the stop in Great Stirrup Cay was eliminated. The buffet was great. We did not feel attracted to much of the entertainment or other on board activities.

Diego on the guitar in the Atrium Bar was excellent. None of the other featured entertainment appealed to us enough to stay up until 9:30 to see it. All other ships on which we have cruised have had an early show and a late show.

No real complaints, though the room steward came at unusual times and the ice was replenished only once, so far as I can recall. The mini-bar was never unlocked. We wouldn't have consumed anything out of it, but we might have used the refrigeration for a medication. We felt the $19 per day gratuities were a bit steep for someone who doesn't drink and who never used the main dining room.

Very small, but adequate. But the safe did not work and the hair dryer did not work.

Enjoy your time in Havana and overlook the other deficiencies of the cruise.
Gratuities aren't just for the bartender and MDR staff. They are for your to steward, buffet staff, and other behind the scene workers as well. By the time the split them up between all of those people they really don't end up with much.
