Review summary

This cruise exceeded our expectations for the price we paid.  We thought the food would be ok, and our sit down dinners and breakfasts were great.  We thought since the drinks were included they would be watered down or bottom shelf, yet the bartenders did a great job with all types of mixed drinks with many of my favorite brands like Tito's.  Nightly entertainment like shows, games, and dancing kept us partying each night.  Their private island was the best day...it's beautiful and relaxing.  Nassau was cool, but everyone's trying to scam you...don't buy anything!  Freeport was nothing, so we spent that day on the boat by the pool, which was a great move, since it was less crowded.  Don't miss the white party, the piano guy or the guitar guy.  I guess the only complaint would be that the games like Bingo and Deal or No Deal seem rigged, it's all computerized and you need to spend a lot to play and they payouts are very small.

Our inside cabin was small, but we were never in it, so I did not care. Laze our attendant was great. Loved the complete darkness when we slept as well.

Ship tip

Smoked salmon in the dining room as an app for breakfast was one of my favorite things. Decent bloody mary's too when you add your own spice.

Skip it and spend a day at the pool.

Nassau, Bahamas

Take a 20 min walk to the Tiki Bikini Hut, rent some chairs and have some drinks and hang out in the beautiful water. Don't buy anything and don't go to the major bars like Señor Frogs...everyone's out to scam you.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

The best stop! No need to rush to get chairs, there were plenty of them. If the bar seems crowded, just go to another, there are more than you think. Roasted chicken at lunch was very good.

I'm just curious why you think everyone is trying to scam you? This is how the locals make money, by selling at the straw markets. Tourism is the number 1 way they make money in the Bahamas so telling people not to buy anything because they are trying to scam you isn't cool. That's how they feed their families.
