Review summary

This cruise was truly a waste of our money. We have had our best experience with Royal Carribean and Carnival. On the other cruise line we did not feel pressured about anything. The staff was very friendly and appeared to enjoy their job. At night there were so much to do and you did not hear other cruisers complaining about their vacation.

NCL focus was on making money on bingo games in which they they failed to inform people that there was a charge until everone was seated. I think they should of put a little note nxt to the bingo advertisment on the daily activity sheet to indicate that there would be some type of charge.  If we wanted to gamble we would of went to the Casino. The Casino was just as sad as the staff.

The entertainment: The DJ played the same music every night...They really need to update they music. The game shows and musical shows were the best entertainment. Night time entertainment was so boring.. No chocolate fountain or fancy occasions

Activities: Boring..... Some of the games cost money.

Pools/Wirlpools: They are nice but were filled with little kids most of the time.

Freestlying buffet: was fair, you just had to get your meal before the flies and the little kids got there. Did't go to the specialty dining, heard too many comlaints about the food being the same as the food outside only difference you can get lobster tail and steak.

Rooms: The room was flithy upon our arrival, it smelled moldy and the staff had to come and clean it again...toliet was stopped up. We had a inside cabin that was suppose to sleep four (yea right!). The rooms are so small that there is no room to put all of your luggage. There is actually three beds in the room, the fouth sleeping area is a chair which is suppose to be pulled out a night. If that is done..others in the room would have to crawl over the person that is on the chair to get to the bathroom. No window in the room is fine but a clock would of been nice to have given that it was hard to know when to get up, The room was old and had rolls of wall paper sitting in the room. They really need to stop advertising that the room can accommadate four people!

Staff: Staff at the front desk we very rude they look at you with their nose in the air. If you asked them a question they act as if they didn't know what you were talking about. One had the nerve to get smart with me. Some would blow you off if you were walking around and asked them a guestion.

Officer night: I have been on many cruises and we have always had the opportunity to attend, what a joke on this cruise we were informed that we had to go to the front desk and submit our room number in for a raffle to attend. Now you are informed to bring something formal or dressy for this type of night. I was informed that if we did not get selected that we can use it for dress up night to take pictures (wow). This was my children first cruise and this was not the experience I wanted them to have.

They had "White Night" not everyone got the memo to bring something white on the cruise to wear for the event. Poor communication from NCL or whom ever.

Alcohol: It appears that all they did was ask if you wanted to place an order for alcohol. Not everone wants to drink alcohol first thing in the morning.

To force cruiser to pay $12.50 tip per a person in one room is unheard of, not all staff were deserving of tipping. They act like they did not want to make an adjustment on our bill. But we tipped who felt did an outstanding job.

Bottom line: This will be my last NCL vaction we will take, we wouldn't go back even if the tickets were free.

It did not look like the one on the website. Too small for four people and their luggage. Room has beds for three and a so call sleeper chair. Beds are so hard you can feel the springs. Dingy looking

Ship tip

Line for meals were too long. We like the ice cream machine that was located on the patio.
