The Prima was fun ship, but the layout was confusing. Hard to get around the ship. Too many doors and walls. The gym was small and the dining areas was small as well. I didn’t get the drink package because I didn’t feel like the cost was not worth it.

Review summary

I’ve been on the Bliss prior to the Prima. The Bliss was by far a better ship.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Easy flow. No issues

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food and drinks were a little above average. The speciality restaurants is what made the eating experience better. The complementary food venues were average at best.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Not a lot to do on the ship. Bring your own games if you can find a place to play!

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I’ve been on other ships where the entertainment was amazing. Not a lot put into the presentation.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
The staff was good, but I’ve seen better.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The design was confusing. No direct paths to any one area.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
My cabin was one of the better amendies. My cabin was “9764” balcony, plenty of space in the room and the bathroom and shower. Bigger than most balcony rooms on other cruise ships.

Ship tip

The Prima will add a 20% tax on every drink you purchase. If the server goes above and beyond, then I would tip, but if not, they will take a tip anyway.

Disembarkation

If you want to carry your luggage out yourself, you’ll get off the ship much faster.

Thanks for your review but every cruise line these days charges 18-20% on every purchase on the ship. This is to be expected.
