Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of dining experiences: Cagney’s, Onda, Paloma’s and the Haven. I even enjoyed Buffet, although it was always harder to find a seat. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the scale of spaces on the Prima more than any other prior Cruise experience.

In many ways I have come to expect high quality service on NCL ships. Even so, the experience of being on the PRIMA was truly superb. Prior to boarding I read some unflattering reviews of the PRIMA and the PRIMA experience on this site, so I was looking for some difficult experiences. That NEVER happened….I loved being on that ship with that staff in that cabin….it really was perfect. I don’t doubt the experience of those who criticized their experiences. However, I fortunately enjoyed almost every moment of my journey.

The design of the PRIMA is unique among NCL ships. Even though the ship is very large, there is a palpable sense of intimacy as one moves among ship venues. The Bars, my favorite venues, were just great. I always felt I was in a distinct space set outside the ebb and flow of ship traffic. I stayed within The Haven and that was delightful. Only The Bliss offers a nearly comparable Haven experience.
