Review summary

Such a horrible experience all in all. The dining options were horrible, everything was broken, good luck getting a spot at the pool or any of the shows. Engine failure caused us to miss a port and received no compensation, the ship was plagued with viruses because all of the spaces are so small and people crammed together. Save yourself the hassle.

Ship tip

Be prepared to be bored because there is not enough room at the amenities for the amount of people that cruise on this boat. Everything on the brand new ship was breaking down and the dining rooms served the same menu every night so you would pay for specialty dining. So many of our fellow cruisers have all of the same complaints. Too many to list them all.

I was on the same sailing we did get port taxes back for missed port and that's all any cruise line gives back. I enjoyed this ship food was very good was able to enjoy any amenity I wanted. As far as any sickness I didn't see any. Maybe you should look at the positives in life and not dwell on the negatives

Received an email about Legionnaire's disease on the Norwegian Prima back on Nov 2022 cruise. They were just informing all the cruisers from that date forward (cruised Feb 5th). I saw the crew changing the most filthest air filters. They looked liked they hadn't been changed since the ship was built.

Sorry to hear you had a horrible experience on the Prima. Yes its a new ship very different from the other ships. But your on vacation make the best of it.

You do notice that this is a third party review site that crossposted the review? Wonder why it seems that these crosspostings seem to having the most “nothing was good” reviews?

We sailed the Prima in January. We loved it. The only problem we had was the elevators. A couple were broken a few days. There were never all four down at once.

Just got off the Prima. We loved it and experienced none of those problems. Looking forward to our cruise on her sister ship Viva next year.

Love the comment "plagued with viruses". Wouldn't that have made the news somewhere?

There are mixed reviews on the newest ships on NCL, Carnival and Royal Caribbean. Some people love them, and others say they feel cramped and crowded. It seems like they tried to add too many venues, rather than allowing enough space for a few less.
