Review summary

This was a mediocre cruise ship and experience, the ports of call were lovely and we had a nice time in ports, the ships food left much to be desired, cold food mostly, never to the right temp and lacked flavor. The crew serving doesn't understand the speciality food nor how to serve it, we are foodies, my spouse a chef so we have higher expectations then most but this is not decent food .

low selection of quality beverages, ship ran out of IPA and only had one choice, no ambers, stouts or beer varieties, same with wine, limited choices that we included in the package of quality

Theresa was very little entertainment, the show quality was corny at best and the same musicians over an over, got redundant very quickly

The Internet cafe manager was discriminatory and rude and the ship didn't address the issue, never followed up with me and they were dismissive

Windows were flithy and hadn't been clean, never saw crews out washing windows or anything else, ship needs a refresh

location was good, noise is limited. other than on days in ports, struggled getting the crew to let us get to our room with ease, space between bed and table is too tight making it hard to get in/out of bed

Ship tip

have low expectations and you'll be fine, food in the cafe/buffet was always cold, skip Cagney's steakhouse as it was terrible

If you are expecting 5-star or Michelin quality meals on a cruise ship, you will be disappointed in any of the large cruise lines. That being said, I have always found the speciality restaurants to be comparable to a mid-level restaurant in shore. Cagney’s isn’t Ruth’s Chris, more Outback quality, but still good.

Smaller Ship But Not Small on Fun

We were extremely disappointed in the preparation, quality and selection of food on this ship. Plus the theater had only one show that was what we would consider very good.
