Review summary

Overall it was a relaxing trip. I was hoping the Pearl layout would be different compared to the other ship like Dawn. The disembarkations on PEI and Bar Harbor was horrible!

The Garden buffet on the Pearl was subpar compared to my previous cruises on the Dawn. The food combinations just wasn't as good this time!

Onboard Activities

I enjoyed the one time rock climbing when the weather was finally good. My son loved the Splash where he was able to play with the other kids onboard. My wife and I enjoyed the dance classes the ship offered during the cruise. All the shows was just as good as before but it left out some magic show compared to the Dawn.

The Pearl had the same restaurants and layout compared to the Dawn. Kinda boring. Was hoping for something different.

Cabin / Stateroom

It fit my family of 4. The toilet was badly positioned. Had to sit on the side other wise i was right against the wall with my face and knees.

Ship tip

Just relax and don't worry about the time. Except if you want to catch the shows and activities.

PEI disemarkation line was too long giving they only had one exit off the ship on this. Should have opened both. Bar Harbor disembarkation was another sad example where guests had to wait up to an hour to just get off the ship!! Very BAD!
