Norwegian is a very good cruise line for just relaxing but the ports they cruise too need allot of work for people to be truly interested in disembarking. I have witnessed the last couple years, more and more people are not getting off the boats to visit these ports. I don't know why this is, because its because the time is limited, the ports have nothing to offer since its the same stuff, or because of the drink package and great food already offered by Norwegian. I do get off because I paid for it, but I don't stay long in any port.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Does embarkation mean when I got on the ship? We had to wait an hour I think but even that wasn't so bad. That process I must say has drastically improved.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
oh my - That made the experience so good. The customer service, dinning experience, and food were fantastic. Loved it!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
My husband loved the rock climbing and the fitness center. I didn't like the fact the fitness center opened at 6. Should have been opened earlier. I don't like being charged for an exercise class - not understanding why there has to be a charge.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The entertainment was again fantastic. I wish they played more!!! What talent!!!! The stage shows were wonderful, highly entertaining, thank you! I would have liked more playing by the pool area...
Children's Programs

I walked around the ship allot, and I thought the common areas were clean and well maintained.

Very happy with my room, no complaints. Loved it.
Ship tip
Just relax, go do your thing, and forget about your worries.
I know if I had taken one of the trips offered, maybe I would see something; but the port is old, dull, not too exciting, nothing really to buy, land needs an update. Not at all inviting.
This was one of the ports we could actually walk off, and there was nothing to see without taking a taxi, everything was pretty well hidden, so the taxi was the only way to see the town. Port wasn't much, very colorful with the birds but nothing interesting.
We didn't stop, but go through the canal and then sat in the lake for so many hours. That was fine loved reading my book; warm enough to sit by the pool.
What a beautiful place. Again we had to Tender there, which put a damper on getting there because tenders were not plentiful. There is a beach, got to walk around, and view the sand, beach, and beautiful skys....
There were plenty of other cruiselines there when we arrived. The water was choppy. I am not the captain, but I didn't think it was that choppy. I think he was bored, and made the decision not to stop. We had to take tenders, and some people I guess would not have been able to get off because of their wheelchairs.
Still needs improvement in this area. We stood in line at 730 when it was posted this is when people could disembark. But we really didn't start moving until after 8. Once we started moving though, I was amazed how quickly we got off the boat
