Review summary

We felt totally pampered and catered to. The crew was amazing and accommodated any request. We also met great people throughout the week. We were the talk of the town not being from Boston as about 2/3 were!

Embarkation

It was organized chaos. We showed our neg tests, travel authorization and edocs and were moved upstairs quickly. Once upstairs we checked in and were given our key cards and asked to sit in sectioned off seating. We remained there about 45 minutes then boarded about 11:30am. Overall a very smooth process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was decent. The buffet was fine for a quick bite. The main dining room was good for dinner and breakfast especially. If you want the same meal but be able to dress in flip flops you can go to indigo which has same menu as summer palace. Cagneys was excellent as always, Moderno was good but so filling and made us sleepy. Marvin in Moderno was the best waiter we had all week! La Cuchina was our least favorite as it was a little bland.

Onboard Activities

The pools weren't too crowded. The thermal spa pass is so worth it! It is a great place to warm up especially on the cooler on sea days moving up to bar harbor.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We loved the stardust shows and how there were 2 times per night so dinner didn't interfere with seeing one or the other. The cruise director Tiara was so funny, engaging and got to know all her guests!! We loved her. The game shows were very entertaining.

Spinnaker Lounge

5 out of 5

This was where most of the shows were. It was a very comfortable lounge with ample space and a full service bar. Wonderful forward ship views as well!

Stardust Theater

5 out of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed Harry O, the comedian Heath, the aerial show travelers duo, and the Tina Turner/ Madonna/ Michael Jackson tribute. Tina Turner impressionist had a great voice other two were lacking in voice but WOW amazing dancing... Truly so entertaining!!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All were friendly and happy to help. Most were nearing end of their contact so we're a little tired. Overall very pleased with the service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was spotless. We saw people constantly cleaning railings and buttons. There were crew out daily chipping off rusted or corroded paint off decks and repainting daily. When we were docked next to Royal Caribbean enchantment and adventure of the seas our ship looked so much cleaner while the others had rust stains. None of the Pearl!

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
A little disappointed in the size and storage in the room. It did just get a refresh so the motif was nice but there were a few dents in the wall and on the door. The shower was big and had a glass door but the toilet area was very tight. Also, the lighting in the room was pretty dim so difficult to put makeup on.

Ports of call

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

The most beautiful water I've ever seen. All the locals were so friendly. Golf at Port Royal is a good option vs the NCL one. It's $150 for 18 holes with cart, clubs and shoes included plus amazing views. We jet ski through the 75 min guided tour and were able to feed fish in a ship wreck area, see sea turtles/swim and have an exhilarating ride around the island. It was the perfect excursion. Ask for a tour with Drew! This excursion can be booked right outside the dock yard

Bar Harbor, Maine

Quaint little town. If you intend to do much be in tender line early.

Disembarkation

It was a little crowded coming off but our bags were right there. We were ushered out by 9:15am
