The Pearl was the right size of ship, for us. The staff was excellent and always available for questions and to keep the drinks flowing. Nice entertainment. Drinks were strong and plentiful. Music was great at all venues. Food at specialty restaurants was the best on the ship.
Embarkation

Very easy. Showed up at scheduled time. Directions for waiting were simple. Sat for about 45 minutes before they started boarding us.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Specialty restaurants (Cagney's and Le Bistro) were excellent. Buffet was average, MDR (Indigo) took quite a while for the food to reach our table (4 people) and was better than the buffet, Pub was just okay, Topsiders was fine for when you get hungry, didn't eat at Lotus Garden. Snacks in casino were a welcome treat and decent.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
These were fun (for those in my party who attended). Spent most of my time on the Lido Deck with drinks and music.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Legends show was pretty cool. We didn't attend any of the other shows.
Service and Staff

They were attentive and work very hard.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Very clean ship. Layout worked for our size of party.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Good view. Typical size for a balcony cabin. Separation of toilet and shower was nice.
Ship tip
Stay away from the atrium when you first board the ship. Mass chaos. Head to the upper decks and chill while everyone else crowds the atrium. It will take forever to get a drink at the atrium bar (most days).
This was our first time at this port. It's okay. Everyone will tell you to eat at Don Lolo's. I don't recommend their tacos and such. It'll get the job done but it is not great. The waterpark is ok. Bring bug spray (mosquitoes). Should we ever return to this port we will probably not get off the ship.
