Review summary

The weather was perfect and the excursions were great.  Alaska should be on your to do list.

As a Veteran, I got very upset because of the way we were treated after our allotted one hour Social which was in a small, noisy area with about 14 of us all scrunched in together.  I noticed the LBGT people had a scheduled meeting every day and no activity afterwords to run them out.  Evidently LGBT is more important than us Veterans!

The Buffet was good but Seafood night was lacking.

I like the size of the Pearl and layout.  The staff were exceptional as was the cleanliness of the ship.

The stateroom was great. Lots of hangar space and folded clothes storage. Unload you suitcases and store them on the floor in the closet. Our Steward knew us by name and always greeted us in the hallway.

Ship tip

We found the Summer Palace was a great place for any meal.
