Review summary
My overall impression of the Majesty was very good/excellent. We generally cruise on NCL, as we love the "Freestyle Cruising". The ship's crew is wonderful, as they usually are on most cruises, and we weren't disappointed. The food was excellent, although there aren't as many "gourmet" choices as in the past on other Norwegian ships we've traveled on (i.e., Beef Wellington, etc.) but it was still very good. The ship had everything you needed/wanted, but needs some refurbishing. It's starting to show its age, especially the carpeting. The ports were wonderful, although the national holiday schedules should be checked before planning itineraries, as 3 of our ports were celebrating holidays so the shops were closed. That was a disappointment. Otherwise, the weather was great, the people were friendly, and we had a great time! We had never taken a repositioning cruise before, but would definitely do it again and we will definitely be back on NCL!Ship experiences
