Good trip. Stay in crazy Time Square New York. Did the sights we wanted to see and lots of steps. Ship very clean staff friendly bars not over crowded. Pool to myself at times. Slides fun. Food Local for breakfast. Mixed lunch out or other locations. Loved the speciality dining. Entertainment bit weak. Elements not really a main show. Beatles not even I’m that old. The rooms bit too small. Films in the Attrium were good but none on sea day. Sea days where weather not good, difficult to find seating room. Design a bit weird and there were unnecessary rules. With the slide and not eating breakfast on the rails in The Local when you ate late meals there. All in all great trip to different locations. We all enjoyed
Embarkation

Got the the Pier. Police instructed where our taxi could stop. Crossed the road. Loads of people coming and going. Dropped bags off, was very easy. Queued for a small time. Had to ask for a number. Sat down for a few minutes and then were called. Easy walk onto the ship found our roster location and then went to H2O couple of drinks then lunch in the American Diner

Food was of good quality. We did the Texas Smoke House and Teppanyaki as Specialties. Really enjoyed especially the Tep experience. Local was our favourite for breakfast . Buffett was manic. Not the best set out. Didn’t eat there much

Wanted to see Footloose but not doing it anymore. Elements ok and songs from the shows. The acrobatics were good, but a bit long on their own. Bands around the ship were good but could do without Bingo and Deal or No Deal. Not really interested in The Beatles so wasted on us

Most very friendly and helpful. Felt sorry for some guy on the fast slide. Wanted him to take his marriage ring off before he could slide

Very clean .Staff worked hard. Deign - one staircase to the pool deck ? The entertainment rooms too small. Wouldn’t want to be rooms on Deck 15 with people going back and for to the Observation Deck.
Cabin / Stateroom

Well placed by stairs and lift but still quiet. Usual set up Big bed and settee. Tv wardrobe with safe. Similar with bathroom. Good shower. Not a lot of draw space but comfortable room. Third bed was hard very firm sleep
Ship tip
Local good place for breakfast . H20 with American Diner on arrival. Stay away from the buffet
Bit strung out . Have to get transport to enjoy. Very welcoming. Dancers and acrobats at the port with musicians. Not a lot around the port area. Helicopters looked fun but may be pricey. We have been to Norway so not as unique views of Fjords as many seemed to express. Near a fighter aircraft station. Got buzzed by F18s, which I like
Only got off. Looked impressive from the ship. Strike, demonstration when we got off. Was interesting finding taxi amongst the smoke canisters. But was peaceful and when found driver away very quickly
