It was a fun trip. Our 21st cruise. Was looking forward to an excursion in Panama City, but on our transport to the airport,we got a good feel of the city and its huge skyscrapers!

Too small for the bands that play there.
Maltings Whiskey Bar

Nice bar. Wished there was entertainment in this space. Would have spent more time there. Love the Getaway drink

Great sushi at this speciality restaurant!
Onboard Activities

Our favorite onboard activity is Trivia. Wish Norwegian would go back to having Trivia in a dedicated space and not always in the atrium. Hard to find seats to participate most of the time.
Entertainment

Element was exceptional. So was the ADDA band. But most of other entertainment was mediocre

Cabin / Stateroom

I always try to pick a cabin with a corner or angled balcony. They are a little bigger. But this time, the ships online deck plan and even the safety diagram in the cabin shows 10922 as the corner balcony, when in reality it is actually 10920. We were a little disappointed when we walked into cabin and saw a regular balcony.
Norwegians private island. Beautiful. Rented an umbrella and drinks were included with our drink package! Also a buffet. My advice would be to walk a little to a further, less crowded beach spot. With 2 ships in port there were a lot of people.
Amber Cove did not have any beach access. Several pools and a little zip line. Lots of shops. Nice port area. We did not do an excursion, but did walk about 20 minutes to a public beach area which had free chairs and lots of shade. Nice calm water. Locals provided bar service. But be aware, when you go to pay your bar bill, they put on a hard sell to try and get you to buy their souvenirs.
First time doing the full transit on the bigger canal. A local guide boarded the ship and gave us information all day over the ships system. Very interesting.
This port was canceled because of the new cruise terminal not having appropriate barges to collect ships waste water. ?? So we spent that day traveling out far into Pacific Ocean to dispose. Captain explained procedures to us very well. Nothing anyone could do about this change in itinerary.
