Trip was delayed a day departure. Could not understand why both Portland AND Boston were eliminated vs say a port like Cornerbrook? Why could they not speed up the ship to make one of these ports for fewer hours? Instead they gave us a day at sea!

Review summary

Can't understand why we could not make Boston or Portland given we left 1 day late!!!! Too many people for the public areas. Glad we picked an off season cruise.

All dining rooms were wonderful, except the Manhattan room. Tables were placed very close together and it was loud as a result. Could not talk over dinner. Too many people for the room.

Our grandchildren loved the race cars and pool! But this common area was too small the the number of people on board.

Very clean ship! However, the pubs, etc were overcrowded. The public areas were small for the number of people.

Ship tip

We sailed at an off season time, but the ship was still very crowded. Disappointed all the tours were sold out on first day of cruise. And many tours were sold out prior to sailing. TOO MANY PEOPLE ON THE SHIP! No main foyer piano entertainment, just shops. They did have game events. Not enough seats here. The art auctions were squished too. Knees hitting the chairs in front of us.

Disappointed that the ship eliminated this port of call given they arrived only 1 day late. Given stop was 1:30-9:30, they could have shortened the hours?

Disappointed the ship eliminated this port of call too given they arrived only 1 day late. Stop was 7:30-4:00,,,,,. Could have at least made this stop for a few hours. Hard to believe they could not speed up the ship to make 1 of these stops as scheduled vs a day at sea!

We were on this cruise, too! It was very disappointing that the 1st two ports were canceled. It was the main reason we booked this cruise. The ship was late getting back from Bermuda due to the hurricane. I'm guessing the ports were scheduled with other ships, making those ports not available on the days that ours needed. I would guess that it just throws everything off. 😕
