Review summary

This cruise could not have been any better than it was. This was definitely one of our top cruises, if not the top one. The crew was phenomenal. The best staff we have had in quite a while. Every single crew member was so friendly. No complaints at all.

Embarkation

Embarkation took a very long time. Our time was 10:30 but I can't remember what time we finally got on.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I will start with drinks, the drinks were excellent. I never had a mojito, but so many people say how good the pineapple coconut mojito is. Well, I love pineapple and anything coconut, so why not try it, it was amazing. I should have tried the berry one too, but I never did. Next time, though. We didn't think the food was all that great. Of course, Teppanyaki and Cagney's were excellent. The buffet was not very good at all. Q Texas Smokehouse was not worth it at all. The sides that come with the meals are a tbsp of coleslaw, tbsp of baked beans, 4 pick slices, and 4 small bite-sized cold potatoes. And the sides are in those little silver cups they use for condiments. And I guess NCL did away with the late night snack at the buffet.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

The show Elements was spectacular. It was the best show that we have seen in quite some time on a cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I can not say enough about every single crew member on this ship. They were all very friendly and personable. They were really the best staff we had on a cruise in awhile. They made our cruise that much more awesome. NCL should be very proud of the staff onboard our cruise.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean. Layout of the ship was fine. No complaints about it.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was nice. We had a tub in the bathroom. Enough storage space in the closet.

Ports of call

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

This was our 2nd time to Bermuda, and it won't be our last. I love Bermuda. We have never done any caves before, so we did the caves tour with a beach stop afterward. The cave tour was really cool, especially knowing the history of it. The beach we went to was Clearwater Beach, which is the southernmost part of Bermuda. This beach is gorgeous, breathtaking. It is so beautiful. I loved this beach more than Horsehsoe Bay. A lot of people don't go to this beach. I will definitely go to this beach next time we go to Bermuda.

New York, New York

We live in CT and drive to the port the morning of the cruise.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
The disembarkation actually went by faster than usual. It wasn't all that bad. However, someone should be at the elevators too and not just the stairs. Whenever people would get off the elevators, they would think they could just get into the line instead of finding the back of the line.
