Review summary

Our representative, Steven Upton, from , was nonexistent after we booked. We could never get a hold of him. Called and no answer, left messages and no return calls. He must have received a commission from our booking and that was the end of him. We just started speaking to anyone who answered the phone and they were all very helpful. This is not pertaining to our cruise, but it was pre-cruise info, so wanted to add it.

Okay

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
All the same menus, mostly

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Didn’t use them.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Only stage shows were the Elements and the Broadway Musical. I really enjoyed the Broadway Musical. For some reason, Footloose wasn’t available, but their singers were in the Broadway Musical?? I wish there would have been more entertainment. Anytime we cruised before, there was entertainment every night at the theaters.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great - service from staff was excellent. Our room steward was so kind and polite. Don’t remember his name, but he should be commended.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Yes, everything was clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Clean and comfortable

Ship tip

The Navy Dockyard is not the greatest place to dock. Nothing to see but a fort!

Ports of call

New York, New York

Nice port - More than a short walk when you are lugging suitcases. We did no excursion. Came over from New Jersey at Port Imperial on the ferry. Very nice ride and quick.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

We cruised to Bermuda about 30 years ago and docked in Hamilton right along Front St. That was great. This was not so great. Boring view and only ferries, cabs, etc. to get to where you might want to go.

Disembarkation

It was a madhouse. Listed that you could disembark at 7:45 am as long as you were handling your own luggage. This involved a lot of passengers who wanted to leave quickly. Not a good idea.
