Review summary

This was the most disorganized cruise I have ever been on. I have cruised with every line except Disney. I was so disappointed. I don't know what's going on but this ship needs to get it together.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The hibachi salad was awful. It wasn't even edible. I don't know where you all get the idea that green onion, seaweed and cabbage constitute what people eat in a salad at a hibachi place, but that's not what people pay all that money to eat; so gross!

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

The activities on Deck 6 like Deal or No Deal never had enough chairs. Why not host them in the theater or somewhere with more room? Also the reservation system in our rooms on the TV doesn't work so how do people sign up for things? I missed out on wine tasting and other events that were full because we were expected to walk down to some deck to find some person to sign up with instead of just being provided a number to call or simple instructions on how to do it online on the app or on the tv.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
Kids loved it, however, most times it was at capacity and we were left waiting over 30 minutes to enter. Hours weren't that great. Staff was amazing though!

Service and Staff

I liked my room steward except he never made a towel animal and I had 3 kids:(

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Small for it being a family "suite", whatever that meant. Shower was interesting with no instructions on how to work it. Moldy fuzzy thing growing on top of the light in the shower, I bet it's still there.

Ship tip

Don't go unless you're ready to wait in line forever for everything. They are the most disorganized ship I've ever been on out of probably 15+ cruises.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

I was shuffled to THREE different parking lots over the course of an hour. Once I arrived to the THIRD lot, there was no shuttle so we had to walk 30 minutes to stand in line for THREE more hours to board the ship. Once we gave our luggage, there was another line and the porters who took our luggage told us literally to fend for ourselves with the customers who had been waiting in that line (to mix in with them) or else go stand in the back and wait which would've taken at least another hour to get back to the place we were at. From there there were two more lines to board the ship. It was CHAOS! I have never experienced anything like it.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico Did not visit port

I've been there a lot and kids wanted to use the pools on the ship during that time.

Ensenada, Mexico

Did not do an excursion. This port is blah...

Disembarkation

Absolute madness like embarkation. They made us stand in the birth certificate line for 20 minutes although we had passports. I finally complained after seeing hundreds of people get off he ship ahead of us and they allowed us to go in the passport line. The tried to say both lines were the "same" but they weren't! I was so annoyed. We had to take two shuttles to get to the place where we embarked, but still had to walk back to that parking lot where we parked because there weren't any shuttles to that place. It was such poor customer service. It took over two hours to disembark and I was in the second group to leave the boat!
