Overall it was a good vacation, we excepted a lot better for the money we spent for the haven experience but at the end of the day my son had a great time on his first cruise

First time in the haven, the food great, bartenders were awesome especially edgar and christian
I will say only a few servers were good though. Most times if i was in the observation lounge i had to get my own drinks

The joy was to most boring NCL ship ever. Some was probably do to weather but i have never seen or heard so little from the cruise director as on this cruise

My son was still to young to enjoy splash academy but he really enjoyed the 1 hour of play time they offer.

So this is just a HAVEN review, out butler was horrible. The one most important thing I requested was milk in the room at all times for my son and i had to remind him almost daily. Getting food to the room was very slow
I will say the guy that cleaned the room was AWESOME, not only was the room great but he always ran down the hall to open our room door if our hands were full
Some of the other haven staff seemed an annoyed when we wanted to eat at e the haven restaurant with our son(2yrsold)
But all the staff outside the haven was great and very friendly to my son

The joy was a let down after being on their boats, i will say there were more “washy washy” people around before covid then after bit it seemed clean although so far my wife and i both have covid for the first tine thanks to the joy. Hoping our 2yr old doesnt get it.
