Overall I had a relaxing cruise. Did everything I wanted to and just chilled out. Joy not my favorite ship but they all can’t be. Bermuda is the best island to visit. People are genuinely friendly and they love visitors. Island is clean and beautiful! A bit pricey here but literally everything has to be shipped in. Swizzle Inn is one of hubby’s favorite places so we go every time we are here, so much the owner actually remembers us and comes over for a chat. Lol. Just like home.

For the first time in my sailing career I cannot give Cagneys an amazing review. Besides service being incredibly slow, the food was sub par. Ocean blue food was terrific. Had a better steak here than at Cagneys and both were same cut ordered
Same way. Although service here was slow as well. Q, the bbq house, was not as good as on the bliss. Short rib was ALL FAT and the rest of meats
Overcooked. Service here was also slow. Surprised by the slow service everywhere as we got the first seating when they opened and it wasn’t overcrowded. This was third cruise since they started sailing again and the first two were AMAZING. Buffer food was actually pretty good, although they have a salad bar I could not find ceasar salad anywhere. Carving stations had better meat than Cagneys. I wish cruise ships would teach people what burnt toast looks like. Lol. Bar staff in the casino were nonexistent. I had to fend for myself all

Played bingo. Played deal or no deal. Both as expected. Spice h2o hot tub was huge and could comfortably hole over 30 people, not the two smaller ones on other ships. Casino, what can I say, I hope my donation goes to a worthy cause. Lol.
Entertainment

Element was very good. Footloose production was also I very good, although not sure of the significance of the moving railway bridge. Illusionist from elements did a one night show that very entertaining. Music performers in the atrium were nothing to write home about, but make sure to see the Beatles show and visit the cavern club. Both were excellent.

Absolutely FABULOUS! Such a pleasant lady to talk to and she always put a smile on our face. Very attentive and accommodating. Service in all restaurants was lacking. Slowest I’ve ever had in 30+ years of cruising.

Ship tip
I had a good cruise regardless of the service woes. You get out of it what you want to get out of it. Nothing will ever be perfect. Others will complain left and right and never be happy. Just chill and enjoy yourself and you will have a great time.
My favorite place to sail. We love the island and the people. Ona past cruise we made friends with some locals and every year we hook up at horseshoe bay and chill and just catch up. We love to cruise around on the mopeds and do whatever, we’ve already done most of the touristy stuff as we have been coming to Bermuda for over 10 years. It’s beautiful and relaxing.
No one pays attention to what color disembarks when. They go when they want which messes things up. And it doesn’t help when they call more colors even though they are backed up already. This is not typical of any of my past cruises. Joy was not my favorite ship.
