Review summary

We won’t cruise Norwegian again until they change this boat. We were very disappointed with the lack of included activities on the boat for teenagers. Everything was an Upcharge. We were advised there would be more when we brought the lack of court to our agent’s attention and wish we had the opportunity to change our reservation. NCL changed the boat from our original due to Covid delay. We loved Bermuda, every minute of it. Our food Staff was amazing, steward amazing. Guest services told me their focus was on splash academy and not teenagers. They don’t seem to understand people go on cruises to get away from technology not to be stuck inside playing video games…. For extra charges.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We were early and were able To Board early. Very well set and planned

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Excellent with food allergies!

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Main Pool max capacity is 35 people, second main pool also 35, attached to the kiddie splash area. Two small hot tubs that were packed. There is NO BASKETBALL OR VOLLEYBALL COURT ON THIS SHIP. All activities (laser tag, cars, virtual reality, arcade) are an up charge and not available while ship Is in port.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Comedian was amazing

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
Awful. Teenagers had nothing to do besides ping pong and chess. Entourage was hardly open as the employees were at the Splash Academy.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
We had several awesome staff members. Guest services was mainly non responsive. Took 3 days to respond to our inquiry.

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
This ship would be great for Alaska l, Canada or an area that doesn’t need a pool. Pool deck was packed and it was hard to get in the pool.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Very clean, we had to ask for animals for our room as many interior rooms upgraded to balconies therefore our steward had 16 rooms to handle

Ship tip

Don’t sail on it! They lied advising Max capacity of 50-70%, they were over 90% on our trip.

Ports of call

Norfolk, Virginia Did not visit port

We didn’t visit as we were advised we’d need to retest. We found out after we could have gone and retesting wasn’t necessary.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

This ship has a sports deck with everything including go carts. Are you saying the whole deck was closed? That would be unfortunate. Who told you they would reduce the ship capacity for your sailing? Pools on ships are small. If swimming is important to you, don't go on a cruise. Maybe a land based vacation would be better for you.
