Review summary

Nice cruise itinerary to Bermuda and nice ship. Had a few bumps on cruise… embarkation was 2 hour wait, ran out of some drinks and food midway thru, pool bar areas were a struggle at times, but overall still a great cruise. Food was delicious, rooms and ship were very clean and sanitized, the island of Bermuda is beautiful, many great shows and activities on board the ship and a great pool area with lots of great music and games to enjoy.

Embarkation

The embarkation was pretty bad. We waited where we had to stand in 3 different lines for a total of over 2 hours. My husband has a health issue and really struggled on this. I had to have him sit down by the 3rd line which was the longest and then rejoin me in the line as we got closer.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was great. Visited 3 specialty restaurants Le Bistro, Ocean Blue, and Teppanyaki… all were delicious. Found the main Dining rooms to be great as well and visited the buffets for breakfast and lunch several times. Great food choices

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We ourselves enjoyed the pools, but saw a lot of others enjoying the race cars, miniature golf and water slides. The pools were a bit crowded at times, but very refreshing. The hot tubs were extremely crowded with very young kids at all times so we didn’t use them.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The Footloose show was great. Didn’t really care for The Elements show, but loved both the comedy shows, especially the 18+ comedy. Always like watching the gameshows and enjoyed several live music venues. Would have loved a Caribbean kettle drums band at the pool area!

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
I would say that the crew on the ship worked extremely hard to try and give good service, but at times they struggled. There appeared to be many new staff that were learning and being taught, but overall wonderful service by all!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Cleanliness was fabulous, they were constantly cleaning and sanitizing!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Absolutely loved the location! We were the first set of rooms as you exited the area of elevators. This was sooo convenient and in no way at all was noisy because of people or elevators. Rooms were very clean, balcony was on the small side but large enough to comfortably sit 2 people!

Was a nice area, did a little walking around, visited the battleship.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

Loved Bermuda! NCL also provided a free shuttle to and from St George, the crystal caves and Tobacco Bay beach are wonderful to visit. Also a nice little area of shops and restaurants on the water.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembark was seemless! We did the walkoff and carried our own luggage. The line moved quickly and we were off and through customs very quickly
