Review summary

Booked airline flight thru NCL, flight to Seattle was cancelled. Tried to call NCL number and was on hold for 28 minutes. We finally got rerouted and made the ship but our luggage did not. The NCL airport staff was not helpful at all, neither was the customer service people on the phone.

Did ship tour and spent two and a half hours at glacier. Way too much time there and had no time in town. Did not have enough time in this port.

We did port valet and had to be off ship before 8 o’clock. Didn’t understand why we had to debark so early.

NCL seems to drop the ball a lot when things go wrong.

Never fly in the day of your cruise too many chances of everything going south. I hope you eventually got your luggage back.

It’s always a good idea to arrive at least a day or two before your cruise leaves. This allows for flight delays and there are usually great things to see and do at the departure port city. I also see you mentioned not enough time in a couple of ports. The 7 day Roundtrip itineraries almost always have shorter port times than the one-way itineraries.
