Review summary

I loved everything about this cruise.  I had some reservations since I prefer the sun and beach, but the sights we saw were beautiful and breath-taking!  No doubt that I recommend everyone should see Alaska at least once.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dining in the Tsar's Dining Room was outstanding!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was beyond exceptional!

Children's Programs

No children on this trip for us!

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Actually, NCL allowed us to bid on an "upgrade" so we opted to bid on a mini-suite - and WON the bid. We had a balcony and plenty of cabin space. Well worth the extra monies the three of us spent.

Ship tip

I most always sail on NCL ships. I like where they cruise to, the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the ship, the food preparation, display, and taste, the excellent nightly entertainment, and the overall experience.

Ports of call

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Unfortunately, it rained the day we were at Ketchikan so it wasn't nearly as much fun as it could have been had the sun been shining. Consequently, we didn't see the salmon on the salmon ladder or any bears or wildlife!

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
How beautiful! We went whale watching which was a wonderful experience. Saw lots of whales and glaciers! The salmon bake was a wonderful experience in a beautiful place with spectacular waterfalls.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
This place has some glorious sites to see - exceptionally scenic.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
I LOVED Victoria! This was my first time there and I'd like to go and stay there for a week or so with my husband.

I just bid on an upgrade to a balcony. Does anyone have an idea how much to bid? Curious if I bid too low, anxious to find out if I got it. I agree, your rating needs to be changed.

Dr may I suggest deleting your rating then doing it again. Your rating affects the overall rating and from what I read you loved the cruise

Alaska has been on my bucket list for a few years....hoping to go in 2018! But why only one star?

cndyndale    7 years ago

I'm confused as to why only one star???

twangster    7 years ago

Why 1 star? I was the same about Alaska, not sure why I waited so long.
