Review summary

This was our first Alaskan cruise and the ports are amazing!

The ships staff was friendly but several were new.  This was our stewards first cruise.

In previous cruises, we have fortunately enough to be able to try and experience many different types of culinary dishes, however that was not the case with this cruise.  Being that this was an Alaskan cruise, I expected there to be a lot of seafood options, however there were not.  No lobster or crab.  The food was just ordinary.

The ship didn't offer much in the form of entertainment or things to do.

I would definitely cuise Alaska again, however I doubt that I would choose Norwegian.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Not poor quality, but just ordinary. Nothing special about it.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
There wasn't a lot of activities that were of interest to us.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Not a lot to do during the day. However the shows at night were entertaining enough.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
The crew was friendly, but there was a lot of new staff that didn't know there job well.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Was clean but the decor was dated. Some of the areas were hard to find as the decks didn't go through. You would have to go up or down a floor to get to some of the dining areas and there was no really good maps of the entire ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was decent. However the decor was dated and the carpet really needed to be replaced.

Was probably my favorite port.

Victoria, British Columbia

We will definitely visit again in the future!
